Спорт
Now that's a dream bike! We're always stoked to have a bike like this come through our workshop, so come along as our head mechanic Brad takes to his tools and gets this Heckler SL ready to shred!

The bike is impressive but equally impressive are your tools and overall shop setup. Loved the video 👌

Thanks @MILTONATOR ! We love a good tool wall too!
Cool video Brad. Was just in your shop in January. Super nice layout and great staff. Just got my C GX-AXS in magenta last week. Can't wait to ride it in the British Columbia Kootenays wearing your Drift Bikes's jersey. Hope you're having a great season!

Brad definitely knows his way around a bicycle!
This thing must cost a lot more than it's really worth!
How much grease would you like on your build? Yes
Cool video, from one Brad to another. I can’t help notice that you removed the factory-installed fork, something I didn’t do when I unboxed and built my own Heckler SL recently. Is this just for the extra peace of mind knowing you’ve made sure the headset bearings are well greased? I like your style, may need to pull my fork and get some extra grease in there myself.

Great question! Here's what Brad had to say "Yes, correct! I like to make sure the bearings and interfaces have a hydrophobic coating of waterproof grease to prevent water ingress and premature wear, noise and rust".
Nice video. Which 3 way orange anodized hex wrench is that?

It's a BSC Donut with 89mm Wera hex bits 👌
Love this build. Whats this blue grease?

We use the Maxima waterproof grease. It does a great job of keeping things smooth and not getting washed out when you get caught in the rain or clean your bike.

I am going to try this stuff. Thanks@@DriftBikes
Removing the protection film first seems not so customer oriented.

It's best to remove protection first and inspect frame and paint for any damage before you start the build. We've had a few cases where frame/paint has damage or defects and frame has actually been replaced. Much better to discover this before you put in all the work of building the bike. 😊👍
