That line doesn't even make sense. Like, Satan made Adam & Eve sin, which in turn caused all humans for all eternity to have sin, but that didn't 'doom the whole species'. So really Satan is just trying to brag about something that wasn't even that big a deal. So, no, Santa won.

​​@@Aligames5747 that, and it's also a reference to the predatory behavior thats sometimes associated with pastors, where they would prey on young impressionable children with the excuse that theyre a man of god, it's why satan mentioned the "pastor's tradition 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘴". Pastors are usually in churches, so Santa basically brought that type of behavior to a much more public space (the mall) and with the whole " kids sitting in your lap" thing mall santas do, it isn't hard to see how quickly it can become predatory. Was a good line, but it was with a sleugh of other amazing lines. My absolute favorite that made me pause the video and just lean back was this one: 'They praised your day, now it frightens the devout. Why? Because you leave it like a postcard, with the Christ 'X'ed out'

"Rolled your snake eyes and your pair of dice lost" broke me. That was one of the greatest lines in this battle.

"Snake eyes" refers literally to Satan's eyes being represented here as snake-like slits (and also to Satan being the snake in the Garden of Eden story), but also, it's an idiom to mean getting double one on two dice, which is usually a losing result. So Santa is saying "you gambled and you lost"; but "pair of dice lost" also sounds like "Paradise Lost", a specific reference to John Milton's poem about Satan's rebellion and fall from grace.

I'm a Christian, so this is the only time I'll ever side with Satan at anything, lol.

I genuinely have not seen a more imbalanced battle in my life. Santa’s lines were coming off a little flat, with one memorable moment every so often, but satan absolutely massacred with every word. Easily goes to satan. Rewatched the battle after forgetting most of the lines, Santa’s first verse made me think he might’ve been better than I gave him credit for, and the Satan came out with that coke line. Satan honestly wins even harder on a rewatch.

I can tell right now this is going to be a Freshy Kanal best of all time. Both characters had insanely good bars and insane biblical references. Really well done.

In all honesty, I’m just glad these battles and channel already exist. Heck, I’m glad this community exists. It’s the definition of growth and how everyone went from clear ERB parodies and wannabes to actual talent and hard work put into every battle. It’s crazy and I’m glad that I’m here to witness it all. Merry Christmas everyone. This battle is animated so amazingly. It's about time the classic Christmas figure shows up in a battle, That being Satan. But Santa took the win for me. That second verse was absolutely brutal. He was tearing Satan to shreds with that last verse.

Can we talk about the Satan flow tho? He took some 🔥 with him to the battle like normally i dont like screaming and loud verses but this one was so good

When Santa and Satan drop the mic, it's not just snow falling - it's fire and brimstone

The way that Satan won that was INSANE. It’s almost like Tesla vs Edison, the way that the first verse gives a bit of wiggle room for the eventual loser, but it was because of how the second verse was being set up. Santa went “you’re a bad person,” with some (tbh) top-tier bars which is easy kinda easy, since he’s SATAN. It’s kinda like how Denji just…has a disadvantage, because you have WAY too much material to clown him with. Satan’s in a similar boat here, but the way Freshy got around it was wild. Satan isn’t winning on being good for obvious reasons, so he flipped it… What Satan did was take Santa’s actions, PROVE HOW HE BASTARDIZED THE FAITH, AND THEN SHOWED HE DID IT BETTER, BY VIRTUE OF BEING SATAN. Satan obliterated that old man, and this is def gonna be an all-time battle. It worked PERFECTLY. Played this shit back…yeah “damned it to my level” basically ended it, THEN those final 4 lines buried him.

@@BereliYusuf probably because some of the voters simply are biased without considering how rap battles work and/or don’t comment; also, I tend to view official polls more as popularity contests than actual accurate ones.

I will say that Satan did great in the battle, but overall Santa has too much of a clean slate for any of the verses to actually hit hard. Meanwhile Santa was absolutely ruthless here, and completely reprimanded him for what hes done. It's a Santa W in my book.

Most controversial battle ever. They were literally neck-and-neck no debating. Satan calling Santa a pedo, creep, someone who favors the rich, and has ruined Christmas which is supposed to be Christianity and the celebration of Jesus’ birth were all so heavy. The thing I adore about Satans verse is that you can literally feel every single bar he says, blud’s voice acting was PEAK! Santa went hard too, mocking Satan for becoming one of the most renounced beings in all of creation, losing his status as one of Gods most prized angels and how everything was given to him yet he still managed to find a way to end up in a place as lowly as hell. The Devil wears a Prada, Snake Eyes, The Starving Man and going from burning Witches to Gay folks are all so underrated imo. Santa made sure to go hard on his day fr I ain’t even gonna lie. The only thing I disagree with, is the results! Not saying Santa shouldn’t have won (actually kind of glad he did fr) but it should have been way closer 65-35 at LEAST. Props to Chase Beck and especially Freshy they killed their roles here.

Y'know, I'd just been thinking it's been a while since Freshy himself slung a verse in a rap battle, and dear G- well- Satan I guess hehe. It's like return of the king. 2:55 This entire verse is just jawdropping, devestating, and probably the hardest verse dropped since Cam's Gengar. Keep up the amazing work m8.

Disagree, the first two lines in Satans second verse hit as hard as the entire second verse that Santa was throwing. 'They praised your day, now it frightens the devout. Why? Because you leave it like a postcard, with the Christ 'X'ed out'

Satan didn't try to defend from.thise accusations, he even reveled in it, so how is that a burn? Satan on the other hand tore down Santa and told him 'Yeah, I am bad, but guess what: So are you! In fact, you are even worse! And YOU are supposed to be the good guy here!' That hits harder then Santa just reaffirming what the devil already knows.

"i fell from the heavens and got a new life you fell from the roof and fucking died" i loved that santa clause reference

Not sure if this was intentional (I'm assuming it is), but Satan's last bar being in 6s was a very nice touch

I actually never heard Freshy Kanal rap, BUT WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS ASTONISHED. I was torn in the beginning, but in the end Satan definitely won.

Honestly I can't believe it took me this long to find your channel. Definitely going to stay for a while. Maybe for an idea matchup, ALF vs E.T? Aliens from outerspace that dominated 80s and 90s culture and lived in suburban areas to make sure they didn't get caught by the Military.

I loved this track, this is by far such great lyricism and beat. And the contenders Santa and Satan each had some hard bars. Like this is a coin toss for me. Guess that means I gotta rewatch it again :). Merry Christmas!

The Will Ferrells “elf” cameo in Santa’s second verse was clever.

"You need an Eve to cheer up the worlds needy. I just needed Eve and I doomed the whole species." That Line solidified Satans win. I was going to pick Satan as the winner no matter what, but that one line made me sure of my choice.

"To try out-fiddling kids" Should've used a golden fiddle.

Santa had some banger lines, but also some duds, while Satan’s bars were consistently good, so he’s my pick for the winner here.

Speaking as a Christian, this is the best characterization of Satan I've seen in a long time. Too many people go the Paradise Lost route of making him a misunderstood puppy dog, whereas he SHOULD be the fucking Prince of Darkness

Every single bar goes hard on this one, but imma give it to Satan for that final line.
