I totally loved your video! Thank you so much for sharing your talent and experience. I do doll restoration too, it is such a joy!
Fantastic job and really shows "how" you did things from beginning to end. But list of materials would be helpful. Including the paint tinting combination to make the perfect color as it turned out terrific!
This was so amazing,I adore and collect vintage dolls as well as reborns.😮😮❤❤❤

I have watched this many times. I think you painted the lighter color on the hair, then the darker overlay. I like the way the hair on your dolls looks. I haven’t found anything that goes into detail about mixing hair color for antique dolls. You did say in one video yellow and brown. Im trying to make a little metal head girl look a little better. She looked like she lost a tussle with a hammer. 😂 I can’t make her look worse, hopefully.

I fill in dents in metal heads with the two part clay. Yes I do a lighter color first hair then spray dark over but not on the edges. I add a little black to make the darker layer of hair. You can mix brown, yellow and a little red to make different colors of brown and add black to darken.

@@ladonnabriggs8487 Thank you so much, Ladonna! It took about a dozen fillings with Milliput and lots of sanding. She’s had a couple coats of primer and many coats of oil paint. She’s smooth and about ready for hair. Just a little doll not worth much, but that’s not the point. She’s about a 100 years old. I’m going to give her my best shot! You are so helpful!
Wish they would slow the film down so we could actually what is being done
That paint job was ugly af lol I'm glad you fixed him, he turned out amazing 😊

I put on several layers of paint at least 5 layers sometimes 10. The paint I use is amazing and covers good.
