If I was brought back in time right before the assassination of JFK, would I stop it? No, because there is no telling how much changing the death of ANYONE could impact the future. Honestly I always enjoyed this movie just for Martin Short's performance, lines like this I can hear in my head after reading them. Even as a kid I found the plot about Santa being overworked and the in-laws coming to visit boring and awkward, but there's something about Martin Short as Jack Frost that is ridiculously fun to watch. Maybe it's because he's the only one in the movie who seems like he's enjoying himself, like watch his song-and-dance routine as Santa, he's clearly having a ball.

@@chuckbatman5 Honestly, while the film definitely has major flaws-like the whole escape clause thing could've been written much better to not seem so silly or tossed in, and Martin Short as Jack Frost was a way, way better villain by a long shot than "rubber santa" who was just annoying and his soldier army made no sense even in a family crazy christmas movie. I wish it had been recieved better and we'd gotten a prequel about the Jack Frost character in all honesty. Also, Curtis is way less annoying 3 than in 2, good god.

I like how nobody seems to react that both times the snowglobe takes them back, the entire timeline hinges on them 'accidentally' murdering the original santa.

13:59 Kim Possible doing the Naruto run filled a void in my soul... that or else it made one. I can't tell which it is.

Martin Shorts favorite scene in the film NO doubt.

That amateurish home-footage ending genuinely brought a tear to my eye. It reminded me of my childhood when we'd have all the family round for a get-together and entertain one another for the day. Those days are always so wonderful to look back on and enjoy the memories. Hope everyone at Channel Awesome had a wonderful Christmas with each other.

Joke in The Santa Clause: “We shared a bowl of sugar, did some shots of brown liquor, played with my shotguns, field-dressed a cat, looked for women.” Joke in The Santa Clause 3: I honestly can’t think of one. The original is a PG-rated, playfully cynical film that properly counterbalances its Disney brand sweetness. It creates a good dichotomy that makes the emotional moments impactful rather than cheesy. The sequels are G-rated sugar-fests filled with overacting and an overreliance on cutesiness. Just the fact that they gave the reindeer bigger eyes and a silly gibberish style of talking shows how saccharine the sequels are compared to the original.

The Jack frost acted from being hugged by a little girl will never be okay with me.

I always love an appearance from Devil Boner!!! He's my favourite character!! Even if it's a short one, he's just the best. And him & Tamara make the cutest couple ever. Let's hope they never break up!!

Happy to see Bum Reviews make another appearance. Feels like forever.

That was actually really nice. So often Doug has to hammer the message in with a big speech. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. But it’s good to see that a strong message can also be delivered with a simple line and some clips of people just having a good time. Merry Christmas, y’all.

"A couple of running noses and some dead Citrus!" The only joke I laugh at in this movie

As much as I loved this review, I do wish you had ended it with that heartwarming Christmas message "SHUT THAT DOOR!"

Not gonna lie, I almost cried when Critic fell asleep at the computer and everybody came into the room.

29:42. "The Santa Clause 4: ADULT NEEDED."

"For gods sakes, your not running for Mr. Rodgers!!" Well said

I could go the rest of my life without ever seeing this film around Christmas. The first 2 are fine. In fact, the scene in Number 2 at the school Christmas party is actually really endearing. But 3 is just... pain. Pure pain to sit through.

Haha, agreed! It must be the _only_ bizarre thing in your house, and you can't mention it at all, leaving them to wonder which of you is insane.

And that sums up my feelings for this film. Honestly, I loved the trilogy as a child and still hold a soft spot for all three films. The third one never seemed awful to me because I too lost myself to the fun and enjoyment this film has to offer.

I think this movie is prefectly fine. It was verry well written. Most of the so called plot holes were explained by the movie.

Spencer Breslin's character in this movie isn't Conrad, it's Curtis. Conrad was his character in The Cat In The Hat.

Watching the review, I actually kind of thought the "I'll get a mop line" was kind of funny. You don't use mops on fire! "Am I really that fat?" Nice Toy Story 2 reference!

And the Santa-bot makeup looks way more painful as Santa he had to wear aging makeup but in Santa Clause 2 he had to wear makeup that made his skin look plastic and wear plastic moulds of a beard and a wig

I hope Doug does a Disneycember for The Santa Clauses show. It was probably the best thing in the franchise since the first film
