They would make an amazing power couple. They share a love that is respect, understanding, friendship and loyalty, all rolled into one. She definitely saw that he was different from his kin. That they shared so much together. Good and bad.

My head canon is that after ten years of serving as Bran’s Hand, Tyrion retires to Winterfell and becomes Sansa’s “friend in residence.” He lives out the rest of his days there. When he finally dies, Sansa is holding his hand. His last words are, “I didn’t expect this, but it’s better than what I hoped for.”

@@spongegarr6235 Well,it's not so horrendous in the books,Tyrion is like 30 if I recall and also Sansa is a bit younger,she starts as 11. I mean it's still big,but in the end of the show Sansa is like 18,I guess while her character in the books is for now 14. But also Tyrion in the books is worse and that includes his looks. I'm not sure how Martin wants to continue their arch if they meet each other again.

​@Spongegarr 13 years isn't TOO bad. When I was 19 I dated someone 15 years older. That was alright but we lived in different countries and other complications arose, but the being together wasn't bad, plus she was more mature than most my age which was great to experience. Perhaps it's seen differently with the gender the other way around

Isn't it funny that tecnically because of the moment of her death Cersei was the last crowned Queen of Westeros: Tyrion was her lawfull hier as her closest male relative alive? So while he was in prision he was tecnicaly king amd then he did abdicate? D&D sure knew how to weast(?) potential awsome scenes and a better ending. And Dany declared herself Queen and had followers amd a army but she was never crowned....So? Tyrion should have been king! And then everyone should have realized that peter bealish gaslighted everyone cuz I don't believe he had the power to disolv his marriage to Sansa! And that would be a great ending.

When he protected her from Joffrey having her beaten my heart was Tyrion’s. I know he’s supposed to be terrible in the books but he really was a true “knight in shining armor” to Sansa. I’d take him in heartbeat. He was so good to her.

I had hoped that in the end, these two would end up together. He always tried to do right by her. He was the only one who really ever loved her. Their scenes together in the crypt were so amazing. They had gone full circle together. I loved it when she told him that he was the best of them all and he replied how truly terrifying. Tyrion was the best character from start to finish. He was smart, he was decent and even though he was a Lannister by birth he was so much better than the rest and way more noble than Jaime!

Well, the author isn't done writing the books so we may yet get the endings that we hope for. Then again, this IS the man who loves to throw curve balls to unseat the best of us.

Tyrion was always there to save her. He loves her, just not in THAT way.

I’m sorry but I think I ship these two together. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t really care about age difference. It’s what their intention is to put someone else’s wants above their own or that you really care about them. The one thing I don’t tolerate is selfishness, taking pleasure in another’s pain, to see them cry and laugh about it. I believe that two people when married should be equal in stats and have mutual respect. I think these two fit that description but I don’t think the writers would ever go there to have them actually be in love with one another. I’m excited for the books

If it helps, the age difference is not nearly so drastic in the books. Tyrion is about ~15 years older than her in the books. In the series finale, Sansa is 19, which would make Tyrion 34. Not at all an unheard of age difference even in our world.

See we are opposites. I care about the age difference. But at the same time, they are perfect for each other. And with everything they’ve been through, I think they’d know how to make each other happy or at the least, help each other heal and be kind.

True, beyond love a relationship with full of respect. He respect and adore here more than anyone.

One of the best two characters who never crossed their lines of dignity. Treat to watch this beautifully made piece which showcases these two lovely characters

But the thing that hurts me is in the books even though Tyrion always thought about her and cared for her,always tried to build their relationship....sansa never let him close....never strayed far from courtesies with her walls so UP high. She hated him for being a Lannister more than him as a person. She believed him as monster for his looks even when she knew he's kind...I didn't blame her. Anyone would be the same as her after what happened. The thing that hurts me the way they both converse in the show after marriage never happened....sansa never ever smiled at him like that or told her sibling rivalry stories to him.. but i hope being away from him would make them closer together . But book Tyrion is also a very grey character unlike shown in the show...it would be interesting to see how their relationship develops from here on in the books

YOU ALSO REMEMBER, SANSA WAS FIRST BORN DAUGHTER of proper family, told to be prim and proper and told she marry a prince, aka she was sold into political marriage, she was ok with idea, just like cersei, and reality hit her hard, robert was womanizer brut, and joffrey was inbred psycho and it just got worse jofrey force her to watch her own father execution for telling the truth that everyone knew, she was held captive, joffrey had her stripped and beaten in public court for her brother victories, and sansa was forced to look at her father head on spike, when she refused to look she was beaten in face with metal glove sansa didnt cry, she simply walkout on beam joffrey stood on to push him off, why not have this be joffrey ending, but hound stopped her to save her life but sansa told lady olenna the truth before the purple wedding, joffrey was monster, and olenna took charge, she and little finger poison joffrey, and set up sansa for crime by putting the posion her necklace

She was also a child Sansa was like what 12 in the first book she has so much trauma in such a short period of time anyone who went through half of what Sansa did would have their walls up as high as possible and some wouldn’t be able to function half as well as she does Let alone a child who lost so much anytime she felt like she was getting a reprieve she was slapped down again and again

It makes a difference that the actor has no deformities and is quite handsome while also being a little person. In the books, it's really hard to picture anyone really falling for him.

That was very beautiful! I love their relationship, it's so delicate, so deep, so unique. They sincerely love each other in a very singular, very pure way. This video and mainly the choice of the song, have managed to capture this very well. It is a beautiful tribute to these two ❤ Btw, Sanrion deserves better! I hope GRRM honors the preciousness of this relationship in the next books.

Love this series, I have doubt if any other series match this in future...

Ok but when I first saw the long night episode and they pulled out their blades I legit thought they were going full SUICIDE PACT and OH MY GOD how much that would have hurt... I honestly believe they would have been good for each other, if it ended with them together. It shouldnt have happened when it did, with Sansa being a literal child. But when she was older, after the war was finished, I honestly believe they would have been really good for each other.

They deserve each other. No one else fit to sansa than Tyrion.

Not saying he loved her with all his heart as the only person that would be was shae but I do think there was a place for her in his heart and if circumstances were different I think they would of made a good pair. There both really smart and strategical even though Sansa doesn’t always show it. They both want what’s best for there people not just for themselves. And they know how to make political decisions

I think Tyrion was that romantic lead in GoT, but he didn't get Sansa... at least not yet. Beautiful video for a beautiful couple ❤️ loved the moment where the edit cuts to them calling each other’s names. This potential couple were crushed mistakenly and regrettably in the show 😢they would make such a strong couple. They understand and respect each other. One day when they're both old prunes they'll sit around and joke in Kings Landing about that one time they were married

They were denied being together because the romance story line is such a cliche in writing and is the sign of a weak author. Once that romance is fulfilled, then what. You've painted, or rather written, yourself into a corner, a dead end with only, "and now they lived happily ever after". But the tragic couple leaves massive future possibilities for a good author, especially if the marry someone else. Would their families become friends, allies, neutral's, competitive rivals or even bitter enemies. It almost writes itself that way instead of the 'happily ever after" dribble. This was very good screen writing for the show.

Why the creators of this show basically murdered it for just potential short-term gains I will for ever fail to understand. You are about to reach the stars, to achieve legendary status (not only for the beauty of your project but also the creativity you have inspired in others), to be able to do about anything your creative mind committs to BUT you throw it all away and bury all the people whose trust you would have earned and who would have been indebted to you in an industry that usually doesn't care about loyalty ? Why ?

I always thought they should be king and queen of seven, with their side pieces , and their kids would be adorable smart sassy and cute

I’ve forgotten how well made the show was before dumb and dumber destroyed it.

Tyrion perhaps loved her more deeply than any man had ever done, with perhaps the exception of her father, and brothers. If only she could have looked past the fact that he was a dwarf, and a Lannister. He spoke truly. He would never hurt her. He would never force her into bed for marital duties, but even on the wedding night took a position as 'guardian' and told her he wouldn't come to her bed unless and until she asked him to.

Granted they got forced into the situation of a forced marriage, but at least Tyrion didn't treat Sansa like crap. Even The Hound was looking at her differently.

I think they would have been a great couple. They’d have been happy together! Bitch want and needed real love and loyalty. And the more u get to know Tyrion he becomes very attractive! He’s more a man than some that are 6 ft tall!!
