    In Sanremo they are all professionals, don't take as granted what you see in other countries. Festival di Sanremo is a real Festival, not a talent, it's the expression of the pop music industry. By the way they make rehearsal, but not comparable to what they do in Eurovision. They say ESC is the most engaging event about the performances you can find around (of course, it's the biggest no-sportTV event in the world)

    In the late 70's and early 80's Italy created a specific kind of disco music. The past summer this band had a huge hit titled Italodisco, which has those vibes. Look for it if you find the time. By the way, in Sanremo even a mediocre song gets an amazing rendition by the orchestra.
