Hi all, today we visited at Pinnacle The lunar-like Pinnacles form one of Australia's most unique and fascinating natural landscapes. Formed over millions of years.
Pinnacles came from seashells formed around 500,000 years ago when shallow seas covered the area. About 25,000 years ago the sea receded and these shells were broken down into lime-rich sands that were blown inland to form high mobile dunes.
