Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA) | Future Development 2013 vs 2021 proposals
In November 2021, a Consortium of local and foreign companies called SPIA Development Consortium submitted a $10.9-billion unsolicited proposal to develop the Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA).
The consortium’s proposal had been formally accepted by the provincial government of Cavite, on January 7, 2022.
What happened to the proposal? Why there is no movement since then?

God bless Tatay Digs. More power to the new Sangley International Airport. With that, the New Manila International Airport in Bulakan, and Clark International Airport, Metro Manila will have 3 big and world class airports which all Filipinos can be proud of!
This is the clearest blog I have seen with regards to Sangley Airport, keep it up, sana may update din sa status kung may bago. Thank you.

May conflict between SPIA and NMIA, both are designed with almost the same passenger and runway capacity and the location is within the vicinity of Metro Manila. NMIA undergone a rigid deliberations in congress and senate and finally got the 50 years franchise under RA 11506. SPIA is being pushed by the Cavite Local Government. For me, let's just maintain Sangley as it is right now (used by PAF and domestic terminal) and let NMIA finish and make it a new PH gateway.
Maipapatayo PA ba iyan? Diba pinag babawal na ang reclamation? Please pwede nio po sagutin ang tanong ko Kung gusto nio.... sayang kasi eh
