Sandy Petersen - Designer of Call of Cthulhu

Ойын-сауық

I was honoured to welcome one of the true greats in game design, and the creative mind behind Call of Cthulhu and one of my personal favourites - Ghostbusters.
Not only has Sandy established himself as one of the premier table top game designers, but he has also been key in the video game industry working on iconic titles such as Doom and Civilization.

Another great interview. It’s always a pleasure to hear Sandy Petersen talk about game design and the origins of Call of Cthulhu. I’m still playing using 1st edition. Who would have thought that horror could bring so much joy to so many people over the years!

this is just an anecdotal observation, but it seems to me like by and large horror is more popular for women than men, I say as a woman. but maybe in most countries ttrpg culture is male dominated in general, thus tipping the scales back towards men.

@@lulublue5537 But why is it more popular for woman and why especially in Japan? Is it realy just an anecdote?
