Two things I noticed: When it is winter time in her dome, the leaves of the tree don't fall off even though it is deciduous and not coniferous. They have to remain on the tree for the story of the episode to work, because that's what her walls are made of. In that picture of sandy with her family, you can see the "cloud" flower thingies in the background. This implies that they are underwater in the picture, but no one in the picture is wearing an air helmet. I think the dome is only so consistent because it is just so simple. There isn't much to it. The things that are relevant to the plot of an individual episode can just appear or disappear while everything else remains the same, and in that sense the dome has all the same continuity problems that every other location has.

I think it's that she modifies her tree constantly. The leaves USED to fall out but she modified the tree so they don't.

Yeah maybe because the dome is see-through: so it stays mostly consistent. It is definitely no nightmare such as squidward's house is

If i had to guess sandy probably usues science to enduce the seasons in her dome to remind her of home

Sandy's dome must have artificial seasons to match the biological rhythms of Sandi and all living organisms within the dome. The seabed of the lagoon is not deep (30-50 m) and closed from the ocean, so the temperature there is almost equal to the air temperature and does not fluctuate much, within a couple of degrees (26C / 80F). Sandy can change the transparency of the dome and/or change the power of the air conditioning system.

I don’t think that’s strange that Sandy’s dome goes through changes while Bikini bottom doesn’t. The deeper parts of the ocean usually stay the same all year round.

I think you explained Sandy’s dome really well, but something I’ll critique you on is that you said “we can see” or “you can see” too much, so maybe try to keep that to a minimum and also, I think I would understand what you mean if you just said “in this episode, Sandy has a lab in her tree” or “in this episode, the road has disappeared again.” Saying it like that would be more concise and maintain viewers’ attention more.
