@@mandras6319 you have to get read at least 3 times in a row in a single string in order to successfully get a 0 to death on lance, and that's considering you hit a sidelight on the edge, which would make it 3 moves, not 4. All the aereal attacks are jumpable and you can fast fall out of if you already spent your dodge, so... don't use your dodge like an idiot and you'll be fine.

best spear play? that's a far shot, and lance is broken. it's the easiest weapon to use and literally requires no skill, while being extremely strong, fairly impossible to dodge if you get caught in their sweep attacks, his movement was very good though, but to say his spear play is ss tier is a stretch

Axe hammer and Lance are crutch weapons no doubt about that, but if you or me went up against sandstorm with a lance we still gonna get clapped. The taunting is annoying though. I loved how much pro players respected each other and the time and skill it took another player to get to that level.

All I've noticed during these matches is: Stingray has been the most aggressive. - has had the most map control. - punished the most dodges. - was the most technical. And yes he also - signatured the most. But he outperformed Sandstorm. Sandstorm Adapted the most. - Baited the most. - Wakeup punished the most. - Had the most air control. - And got the most asskicking received

Not a single moment went without hits being traded. No end stage camping, no floaty running away, no wait. spot dodge and punish play styles. They both did very well

He is fighting Sandstorm, the number one player in the world. If you think that sig spam would make a bad player beat the best player then you are out of your mind. I'm simply stating that while Sting Ray did use a ton of sigs, they wouldn't have worked well if he wasn't good at using them and avoiding being punished too badly.

Well i feel like everyone keeps over praising him simply because most everyone else is like "Lance is broken" or "Hes just a sig spammer" so people tend to argue back that hes a good player (which he is) but hes not as good as everyone makes him out to be

Exactly, Why not use the literally moves that separate characters if you can. Otherwise you might as well just have a game where every weapon is the exact same with light attacks.
