Lapata ladies is such an outstanding and lovely movie, story u will fall in love and get-connected quickly, story which doesn’t sprit hate or propaganda like ARTICLE 370, KASHMIR FILE, KERALA STORY did and i can not believe people liked those shit and not watching a great movie like LAPATA LADIES

I loved the way thy took on burkha also .. I don’t think many even have noticed that scene what if whole story based on Muslims .. i don’t think they make .. but IF they do .. movie where where banned for sure 😂

What a horrid unfair comment. Stop comparing Aamir and Kiran in this manner. Aamir has actually groomed her, given her wings to fly. And he is so knowledgeable, a filmmaking school in himself. You have obviously not watched any Aamir interview. Us fans have watched plenty and know him to be knowledgeable about films& beyond.

Aamir and Kiran have helped each other grow in their 20 yr long association together. Laapata Ladies came Kiran's way because of Aamir who was judge at a scriptwriting competition. She has spoken about this extensively in her innumerable interviews-- about Aamir telling her the story in alone and how he felt it was exactly what she was looking for. He had watched her get frustrated as she wrote innumerable scripts and did not find them satisfactory enough.He even told Anupama Chopra to relieve Kiran of Mami duties so that she could concentrate on her scriptwriting. Kiran has contributed with her expertise to Productions and he has helped her find her wings. I am happy for them but I dislike the manner in which Aamir is being dismissed by Kiran groupies
