29:06 I was observing this since the beginning of the interview. In Samdish Unfiltered interview he was looking very tired, sick but now he looks like anurag of 4,5 years ago !
Such a genius man the type of stories he told when he began his career didn't work in cinemas but he bid his time and than OTT came into play and he got his due flowers. GOAT

Anurag Kashyap's interviews are always great, showcasing his deep understanding of film culture. However, it's been a while since he made a good movie. I hope he bounces back with some great work. Looking forward to his next film, "Kennedy."

The first person that comes to mind whenever I watch Kashyap... is Quentin Tarantino. Truly, Kashyap IS the Tarantino of Hindi Cinema. Enjoyed his in-depth and honest conversations with Samdish Bhatia in Unfiltered... and with you as well. A job well done, having a decent chat with him.
Anurag Kashyap is Quentin Tarantino for us. That level of film knowledge and passion for films is most of the Bollywood film makers lacks.
always love to see the backdrop of his DVD library collection whenever he does an interview
Anurag is Anurag.. but I like the interviewer .. modest and no nonsense.
His movies may not work for me anymore, but he is so intelligent, and knows so much. Always worth listening to his interviews.

The fact that you're saying his movies don't work is exactly what he is talking about. You're boxing him - you want him to cater to your fandom of his and not to his own.

@@RikFlix Not really. I mean there are some movies you just don't like. I liked Manmarziyan, and it was a romantic drama. I didn't like Choked, Dobara and Almost Pyar. I don't care about the genre, some stuff works. Some doesn't.

Anurag Kashyap : "The Maverick of the Modern India Cinema"
So happy that he took the name of Ghachar Ghocar :D I read this book around 9 years ago in Kannada, The opening description of Coffee house ooof....We sat a conversation with Shanbag at Mysore literature festival, such a humble person, I did not know until the conversation ended and many days later that I was part of an hour long conversation with Shanbhag...
Such a real, heartfelt and deep conversation ❤️loved it
I am surprised that Anurag Kashyap has no idea that "Mithila Makhaan" was the first film made in Darbhanga which won the national award in 2016. The latest film in Maithili by the same maker (which is me) is "Jackson Halt". Infact first Bihari film to win National Award. Nonetheless, Badey badey logon se chhoti chhoti galtiyaan ho jaatee hai. I love Achal films and thankfully Maithili movie will become like Malayalam or Bangla under his leadership in coming years.

No doubt Anurag is a great orator, and it eventually becomes a treat to watch him wherever he speaks. But Harshit, you need to work on your interviewing skills, buddy. I liked your page on instagram and your skill of decoding movies. But please put in more effort in sounding more professional. Hope you take this honest feedback in a positive way and work your way towards your growth. Looking forward to your next interviews.

The man has to refresh and redeem himself, to get back to his element, that he s been up until gangs of wasseypur era. Indian cinema is evolving just right with regards to content, be it theatre worthy stories that captivate people the OTT space, and the appetite of audiences in general. He can truly be one of the greats of Indian cinema and earn reputation that he was always worth but never got in his career, Pan India Btw I always imagine an AK version of Animal, he'd have made that film truly better than Vanga, at least story and screenplay wise
Also bhai NMACC wale me main bhi tha xD half movie on stairs, and then we were randomly shifted to an area jaha humare right me Sunny aur AK sir thhay xD MAD experience
Thank you for impacting on my life 🤍.
