I just ordered one; second time a bought an advertised bass from a youtube demo. . Can't wait to get it.

I have one of these Basses and I have just done small tour of Japan with it.. I was a little worried about how well the Bass would handle the journey from the UK to Tokyo but when I opened the case it was absolutely fine.. It sounded great on all the shows.. It is super light and sounds great.. Cheers X

HI Greg, thanks for the video, which was very useful. At 5'26" you show an original California SL TM which looks gorgeous. Yes, the one Sandberg offered to Stuart Zender ! This bass has all the requirements i'm looking for (lightweight, 22 frets, maple fretboard, black body, no pickguard !) Is this model still available somewhere ? If so, I'd be really interested !

After using Fender for years I got myself a Sandberg. I can only say: wow. Sandberg > Fender any day

awesome looking and sounding bass! I was going to buy a California VM but this lite weight SL is gorgeous; just two questions: how is the overall weight balancing of the bass? any neck diving when played with a strap?

The weight would definitely be easy on my neck & back. But I have to spend an arm & a leg to get it. Why is it more expensive to buy in the states? Over $2,000 U.S. dollars. Excellent job as always!

Love it! I have an Amazon 100€ chinese P bass copy only because it weighs 3kg as well. My Fender P stays in its case, but I miss the quality of the build! The chinese Ammoon is pretty crappy in look and feel, but it sounds fine. A quality upgrade staying at 3 kg would be fantastic! Passive P bass please?...

By far the BEST bass reviews channel! Im loving the Sandbergs the more i hear them but i cant find a Sandberg California TM-2 5 string version with 2 humbuckers with ebony fingerboard. Also no videos whatsoever to review that bass with a drive pedal like Darkglass... I would really appreciate a possible video of that bass because im just dying to buy one without even trying it because the dimensions are closest to my Fender American Deluxe V and the sound is something between the jazz bass, the stingray and a high end european bass :) So pleaaaaaaase make a video of that bass :D

@@basstheworldofficial I just watched at Thomann's homepage and yes they were those strings. Instead of the red fabric they put on a grey one, so it seemed to be different at first glance. But you're right! :)

Will there be 5 string versions? I know it's quite ironic, since that would make the bass heavier, but still. :)
