They had to say Toriyama is great 10x in the intro so people won't get mad at the 6

they hate Akira Toriyama.., this game is noway a ffing 6/10.., the last Dragon Quest Monsters is arguably a 6-7/10, but definitely NOT Sandland.. more a 8 or 9/10 (especially if you enjoy Akira Toriyama art & writing.., but eitherway a 8/10 minimum!)

I hate level scaling. If enemies just level with you, then what's the point of leveling?

The only game that made level scaling fun was skies of arcadia. They hsd these like assassins you could i think optionally fight muptiple times and they would get very challening to beat but everything else was normal levels it made it exciting

definitely better than 6/10 .. and definitely better than the last Dragon Quest Monsters game too (which I worried Sandland would be about, but Sandland is definitely a few notches better.., in all regards)

Art style ofc is amazing but, I'm suprised the graphics look so good

I don't like when enemies scale to your level. It makes upgrades and grinding worthless in my opinion. That can sometimes make it or break it for me. 🙏🏽 I'll probably get it when it's on a deep sale.

Never heard of the game, the manga or the anime, but the dissonance between what is said in the review and the score is crazy.

Im super excited to get this game one day, i absolutely love the idea of the tank lol

6 out of 10 in rating for me. In terms of graphics, it's good. It's nicely rendered with cell-shading. The environments and characters reminded me of DBZ world but my biggest gripe about this game is the enemies A.I. level of difficulty in battle. Most enemies A.I. under normal difficulty is poor, to say the least. Enemies tend to just stand there and let you hit them. Enemies do attack but they do it in a "take turn" alternate pattern. For example, when you fight against two or more enemies in battle, you attack one while the others just either stand there blocking or run around wait for their turn. I get a sense that this game is for kids but even so, the enemies A.I. shouldn't be so predictable.

Ill just wait for the price drop. Not in a hurry for this one

Seems like it's just an ok game. But that's cool. Just might wait for the price to dip a little bit. The original manga was tight even if it was short-lived.

I may get it later. A 6/10 is not a horrible game, just one that feels incomplete. Not every game is going to be a hyped big release and that is fine, just means you might buy it on sale.

Idc about the rating, the story and game itself is whats important

I'll never understand how difficult it is to make an amazing anime game. Given the source material, it should always be a slam dunk

Somewhere in the 7-8 range is the objectively correct review score. That said. $60 seems like an ambitious price point for what's on display. I'd feel more comfortable paying somewhere around $40 for it. Looks like one of those games I'd love to have in my backlog and I'd enjoy once I got around to it but not something I need to rush out to get.

@@PsychoMagnet I understand and no matter how bad we think something is, there are people who love it...I thought the Twilight series were bad movies, but millions of people liked it. So yeah, the impact these things have on people is definitely real.

toriyama is great but the game isn't

so this is a kids game of a dumbed down version of borderlands with a vehicle. pass.

After watching the anime I had a feeling this game was gonna be kinda wack

Tomorrow is a really awesome day for gamers defienitily PlayStation gamers like me, because tomorrow is the Relase Day of a 2 Great games Stellar Blade and Sand Land, defienitily can't wait i'm so excited for the Legendary Anime Artist Akira Toriyama manga's game Sand Land what I need to buy in tomorrow the Relase Day, but before that I'll watch Sand Land Anime on Disney +, I respect Toriyama's work that much I'll watch the Anime and play the Game too.
