Sand Dune Recovery

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Customer contacted me about his rolled sxs in the White Wash Sand Dunes. He then told me that his truck and trailer were also stuck. So Mike and I loaded up and went out to help him get all his stuff out of there. Thank you to everyone for watching and supporting us.

FINALLY! I've watched too many recovery videos on Matt, Rory, and other channels of people who were high-centered on the sand with a winch on their Jeep and they had to call for rescue because they had nothing to winch to. Need to put LAND ANCHOR in the title so it's searcheable.

There were 3 things necessary, or a fun day could quickly turn into an afternoon on the end of a shovel, or winch practice. Nice big tires, the perfect gear ratio, & lots of torque from a big block. Happy days!

Mater, (the Swiss army knife of off-roading) resolves into detail and hope begins to sink. "This is going to save me and my large inappropriate rig?" Kinetic rope, years of experience applied and wonder blooms. "Gee thanks Mister, you're my hero." "All in a days work, Pilgrim."

@@KarlEller bury spare tire? ....like dig a humongous hole and fill it back with sand? seems very tedious...then to dig again to get your spare out

@@teiaperigosa Hot, tedious, back-breaking work, but sometimes it's the only option to get yourself unstuck. Not everyone carries a sand anchor, everyone (should) have a spare tyre.

Really liked you using the sand anchor setting in. Would have liked to see the retrieval. Another great video of your well equipped truck!

To retrieve it most people attach a rope and it comes out backwards in deep mud in sand and snow it comes up pretty easy by hand by pulling on it or a little shovel work.
