Blue you are singing my song! So dissapointing to see the case scuffs on this one too!! The one I showed on my channel was even worse. This is definitely cemented my view that I will never buy another san martin watch either. I'm a big pagani fan, addies dive too. With pagani you got to be choosy, no rotating bezels and you should be good, but for well over half the price you are getting a far nicer watch, and as you said, steel dive and tandorio, and other brands too are making fine watches for way less money, a no brainer! Great vid

Thanks yes, I don't see the value in these and at that price I'm not willing to give them a second chance. If it was a $70 or $80 watch maybe a second chance.

So San Martin wrote on my 3 star review that they have reached out to me to correct this issue, which is a lie. I haven’t heard from anyone or a reply to the message I sent them, I kinda view them as a scam at this point.

Man San Martin isn't looking so hot now guess 1)they didn't get a crap in QC before it left 2)they hired all former employees of Seiko 3)they rested on their laurels when they reached their summit. And almost to 800 keep it up Dan 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Yes I also feel they are resting on their laurels, relying on past great reviews. I can only rate them based on what I have in hand and I see poor quality.

Thanks for another great review. My experience on AE matches this review…they have some amazing deals, but SM seems to be hit or miss. Thanks again!!

Absolutely, I’ve heard so many good things about this brand and the one I got doesn’t live up to the hype and at this price I’m not willing to give it a second try. Oh and right now that watch is $238, but the 11/11 sale is getting ready to kick off.

So many thing I love about this watch man! "Looks" like a beauty! Shame about the bezel tho. With all the little issues it just looks like they don't care.

This was a disappointing watch.

I am a bit surprised. I own 3 SM watches and I have not experienced quality problems like that. They are not perfect but also the brand names in my collection do not necessarily justify the price. Never the less thanks for the video

I was pretty bummed about this watch, so many people say nothing but good things about this brand but based on what I have in hand it’s certainly not worth the price. Also I’ve tried contacting them on AliExpress messenger and no response, on my 3 star review on their page they stated they are reaching out to me to resolve this issue but I’ve yet to hear from them. Again based on what I have in hand there are better watches on AliExpress for less money.

@@bluecollarwatches7048 I have opened a money return case through AliExpress and I either got full or partial refund. For example I got a part of my money back by claiming quality problems with a Cadisen watch last summer

Thats not nice to hear and i would have the same thoughts after looking at your watch. My San Martins are great, QC is perfect and they look much more expensive than what ive paid for. I have some Tandorios too, its another world in terms of finishing and overall impression of quality. Im an old Seiko guy but thats finally over with new pricing of the 5 Sports. And i would have to pay roughly 4-5 times more for SM quality. The one i like the most is the 39mm Version of the 62MAS Homage called SN007. Watchdives sell them for around 150 bucks and they have a quiet good support. But thats a possible downside on all china watch deals that you roll some kind of dice on QC, Support etc. Here in Germany you could buy them from regional destributors, but prices are a bit too high for my taste.

I don’t think they care to much, there are a lot of people raving about this brand. My expectations of a AliExpress watch are different, but I consider this to be a much more premium price and for that money my expectations raise the bar.
