I dont have a Ranger homage and neither does my mother hahahaha! SM makes some incredible watches! Both of these are superb! If Hans can spin fast enough you can use him as a turbine hahahaha! Hope you have a great weekend!

You can look at them both in hand and judge the quality, feel and execution far better than what anyone can judge on a video. There are some things in life you just have to experience to know! If you say they are just as good then who am I to argue? 😂

I have a small collection of SanMartin watches. They do the job and feel quality. I have no desire to spend big on watches. I have always worn a watch, that’s a long time now. These watches are as good if not better than the watches I have had in the past, and they would have cost me more in $ thirty years ago than these cost now.

Owned the first series WWW Serica (2018), newer California, countless Explorer esque watches since that has been my lifelong grail. This by far seems to bring everything I love about all those pieces together in a clean package. Given your no bullshit attitude I am more than happy taking your word for quality lmao. Currently only own a Sinn 556A and have been considering this thing all day. Cheers to a great review!

It's a great watch. There are expectations that need to be managed. at the end of the day its from a copycat brand with no legitimacy as far as any kind of "heritage". Some people don't care about that, some people do; it all depends on what the individual's priorities are. I personally can't speak anything but praise for it.

Guess you found your new watch brand to explore their lineup i got to admit it looks great

All in all, a solid watch--I do dig the dial. Wish they would offer a different movement option, but yeah well. Have you looked at the Rdunae Willard homage? It's been around for a couple of years, but I think it's damn near perfect. Also, I'm a drummer and seriously considering The Horological Incels as a possible name for my next project-doesn't quite roll off the tongue though. Might be better suited for a high concept album that would eventually be made into a Tony award winning Broadway musical--dare to dream.
