On this trip I take out Janes and Jonathan for some striped bass fishing at San Luis Reservoir. We hit them shallow on the west side of the lake in 30 feet of water. Caught a few there then we went and tried the submerged islands by the Basalt boat ramp. Most of the fish caught that day was from that area. They were pretty deep so a downrigger is a must when you want to catch them deep. The white and purple urkel Atlas Rigs were the hot rigs that day.
