SAN LUIS POTOSI, MEXICO | A day in the Historic Center
We've been staying in San Luis Potosi for a month and I guess it's about time we explore the Historic center. History, tradition, art, and culture, what more could you ask for in a city. San Luis has it all, and we were pleasantly surprised by the beauty! Follow us along as we guide you through a day of the must-dos when in the capital city of San Luis Potosi.
We, of course, start with some amazing food at Cafe Corta'o, take a trolley around the historic center, stroll through the streets, check out quite a few museums, find even more food at a local market, enjoy some rooftop vibes and end it with some more great food! All in all, a solid day in San Luis Potosi's historic center.
We've been staying in a pretty nice Airbnb outside the city center, if you're interested in finding a place for a month like us, you can check out the place we're staying at. Here it is:

Que hermoso mi estado ..... I'm from San Luis Potosí 🥰❤️👍
My ex-wife grew up mostly in SLP, through her teen years, then she lived mostly in Puebla and CDMX. She always said SLP was a beautiful city, I saw a few photos, but your videos really give a sense of it. When I went to Mexico with her , we only stayed in Mexico City.
He’s the owner he’s always there and welcomes everyone!
San Luis looks like a nice peaceful place to live in.

Thank you !!
It's on my must visit list. My Great Great Grandfather and Grandmother were born here and grew up there. There names were Anastacia Hernandez and Bernardo Galavis Soto. If anyone is related to them please reach out. I don't know much about Anastacia but Bernardo was born in Aug 29 1870 to Jose Turbicio Galaviz Esquibel and Maria De Buenaventura Soto. He migrated to San Antonio TX with Anastacia.
Ahh San Luis my wife’s family hometown haven’t gone back since the pandemic but I’m in Tijuana rn and flying out tonight to finally go back 💙 it’s a second home to me

It’s a beautiful city, it’s the place I was born. Another thing that it’s known for it’s for la ciudad de los jardines . The city of gardens. You see a garden on almost every corner at the centro.

Hi Javi & Jo - This is my first time view your channel. I was looking for a objective video of San Luis Potosí and your truly impressed me from all the pones I saw. I am a new follower. I live in Toluca, Mexico - I am from the USA decendant of Spanish family - New york City born and raised, Newport Beach, CA and San Antonio Texas for 2 years. Now living in Mexico with my mexicana sweetheart and loving every minute of life here. Looking forward to my first visit to San Luis Potosí with my sweetheart.
After watching your video we went to Cafe Corta'o when we arrived in San Luis Potosi and he made the same promise to us that it would be the best breakfast ever and it certainly lived up to that. We made our own youtube video of it. Thank you so much for sharing this video. We hope you are both well and happy.

I'm from San Luis Potosí, You may like it the weather is great not too hot or cold but keep in mind this is just the centro histórico (downtown) the city is much bigger, we have a beautiful big park with 2 lakes and a museum inside, there's the carranza avenue wich in Sundays closes and it becomes a ciclovía (for riding bikes) and lots of museums. That's just the city the state of san Luis has 4 different zones each one with different weather and food. I advise you to come and visit before you make a decision.

Maybe we should have said: “After we talked to the waitress and told her it was our first time, she came back with the owner and he recommended some dishes and ordered for us!” We know it’s the owner.
Calle Zaragoza es Bonita pero todo ese graffiti la hace un lugar con gente sin eduacion civica, la gente no respeta ni lo que es propio.
Please stop the constant panning. Especially zoomed in panning across everything.
I live in San Luis Potosí for now and let me just tell you, don’t leave the gate open or a cow will eat and poop on your things, happend to me:) oh and there’s a lot of drunk people there and it’s not very nice, but it’s really cool I guess.
