Awesome video about the San Juan islands!

I love seeing travel vlogs of Friday Harbor to see how the tourist go to such different places than the locals. As an islander I would recommend the crab house and downriggers for seafood and Vic’s and Hungry Calm for more traditional diner food. As for things to do the community theater always has amazing shows and Whale watching tours are worth you’re money. The whale museum, sues mopeds, San Juan zip lines, and the lavender farm are also good stops. For coffee and bakery’s Cafe Demeter is a must. San Juan Bakery also had amazing pizza (worth the price!). And the hikes and beach’s are also beautiful. I recommend Eagle cover if you want a more sandy beach or Jackson’s Beach for paddle boarding and kayaking. Mount. Young and Roche Harbor also have beautiful hikes.

Thanks for the comment! We love getting recommendations for next time! We did go to Downriggers for lunch, but we didn't film it (I was filming the float planes...haha!). Great to know about all the other ideas you mentioned...we'll definitely try those out next time! Thanks for watching!

Really nice room, when the video started I immediately get lost with your song, so different from the usual travel soundtracks, that honestly I don't like at all! Music can do so much and create the right atmosphere, I really enjoyed the video

Thanks for the comment! Amy takes music selection very seriously...I've literally witnessed her taking more time to pick a song than all the other time combined finishing the edit 😂

While there are times when you can visit and go inside for a short time, you are actually not able to stay in the large sculptures overnight. You can’t “book them” or make a reservation. You can call when out and maybe, just maybe the artist will come down and provide access, talk, and give a tour.
