I don't recall ever seeing a juvie feed another juvie--that was adorable! These sisters are so captivating with their antics. Poor Monty--his daughters are so independent. And gorgeous. May he be blessed with a son next year--and at least 2 more daughters--lol. Thank you so much for keeping us updated, SKH, Every minute with these girls is precious!

Zoe's rebuke of Monty for daring to show up without breakfast was adorable. Poor Monty: he has a queen and 4 princesses to attend to. I hadn't seen any of them on the high point of the roof before (I remember that was a favorite place for Soledad to snooze). Glad to see Alma still hangs out with her sisters--at least a bit. Not to anthropomorphize her, but I wonder if she's starting to feel like the "odd bird out" among the 3 of them. So interesting how the dynamic among the 4 chicks is so different for the San Jose and Berkeley nests--perhaps it has something to do with 4 females? Thank you, SKH, for these fascinating videos. They're entertaining, but they also give us an opportunity to watch the behavior of these special birds.

@@skhideaways I thought about saying "3 princesses," but there were 4 and I still feel Luna's presence (it's as if she's just off camera) and grieve that her life was cut short.
