Yes it was way ahead Hindi movie. When I watched this movie in Theater @ 2001 year, took many days to come out of hangover. I have seen this movie many times, not bored for a single time. Nowadays Bollywood should learn from such movie. Sanju baba, Mahesh and Amitabh outstanding acting and Excellency direction.

This movie is a copy of a Hollywood movie called Reservoir Dogs. Nothing talented about it, just copying. Maybe copying takes some talent, but it's still copying.

Even Quinton Tarantino (Director of Reservoir Dogs) has praised this film, he had once said 'of all his movies that have been remade, Kaante is one of the best. Tarantino has even screened Kaante in his new Theatre alongside Reservoir Dogs
