I had some eye opening experiences encountering a history of ghosts on a The Haunted Bay Paranormal Investigations Investigation of this area.

Too bad you didn't tell more about the history of the Barbary Coast and less about what is there now. Do you even know where the Hippodrome was? You could have included that building in your film and showed us a few "before and after" pictures of the main area, but no. You had a golden opportunity to enlighten us with an historical walk and instead chose to give us lame travelogue.

The brothels were concentrated in a few blocks of San Francisco, but that fact was painted a more glossy image and ignored the misery and deaths caused by sexually transmitted diseases at the time.

I know where the 2nd most famous Hippodrome in San Francisco was. At Arguello and the great highway at ocean beach. It housed the historic Charles ID Looff carousel at Playland at the Beach from 1913 to 1972. 👍
