I saw one guy who made window covers using magnets. You just take them off and crumble them, and then just snap them back up.

Thank you Dave! It feels great to be back 😎
The leak looks higher up and splashing back. Have you checked around the transmission oil pan? Also check the cooler lines going in and out to see if there are any leak points there as well.

Thanks! I’ll take a closer look 😎
San Diego had this settlement about how they handle people living in vehicles and they can't just ticket or tow you without giving you a chance to move and I think if there's no sign posted that. you can't stay, you can stay. It goes for like 3 years. They had been breaking the law in over-zealous enforcement.

You are the Spirit of America. You've been here since the beginning. You rode with the Plains tribes. You suffered their loss, the loss of your home. You, a stranger in a strange land. Forced to suffer in a land of plenty, while never truly feeling as if you had a place in the bricks and sticks American Dream home. You are a living embodiment of what Van Life is all about.

San Diego is literally the safest city (lowest homicide rate) of any city its size or larger in the United States. There's no city with even a quarter the population that has a lower homicide rate.

analytics The crime rate in San Diego is considerably higher than the national average across all communities in America from the largest to the smallest, although at 23 crimes per one thousand residents, it is not among the communities with the very highest crime rate.

Hey Brad, I know it’s a pain in the butt but you should be able to top off your ATF by pulling the doghouse inside the van.

Interesting, I hadn’t thought of that. Might give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion 😎✌🏻
Wow! First, thanks for sharing the video and the play-by-play for scoping out commercial districts to stealth camp in. Great ideas. 2nd, enough of this parking brake already, right?! I know you’ve been researching online on it and all. Some say it could be a crack in the housing. Maybe allowing the reservoir to leak? I’m thinking you still have the spare but it’s not rebuilt if my memory serves me right. Isn’t the one that’s mounted the one that’s always leaked? I’m not sure but I feel your pain. Reoccurring problems are a huge pain. So glad you conquered the overheating issue. Good luck Brad!

Thanks jay! Been going back and forth with my mechanic in Texas. It looks like there is a seal missing from my tail shaft which is allowing tranny fluid to flow into the brake and overflow it, causing the leak 🤷🏻♂️ going to install the seal when I go back to yuma in a few weeks. This sure has been a weird issue
Always enjoy your videos how does your truck Handle grades

I’m proud of this truck. The hill climb into San Diego goes from sea level to 5000 feet in just a few miles. Didn’t have any overheating and plenty of power For this 11,000 lb vehicle

A wild guess here: rear transmission output shaft seal? 🤔

Transmission extension housing seal is completely missing 🤔 allowing atf to get pushed into the transmission brake and overflow the weep hole. Absolutely crazy

Brad, how did you make it so your window shades don’t leak light around the sides of the windows? Is it because the shades are a lot wider than the windows?
