There are 3 mascots in the Baseball Hall of Fame, and Tommy’s gotten into fights with all three.

This isn't the first time I've heard the "big mound of lasagna" thing about Tommy LaSorda post-game.
Tommy should’ve been on the Muppet show. I would’ve liked to have seen him take on Beeker or Ms Piggy.

Now that Tommy Lasorda is gone, the chicken can do it as much as he wants.
Love the chicken. Not so hot on Tommy Lasorda, being as I am a Giants fan. First time I heard the chicken "cluck". Thanks.

When you belong to a major league organization that claims to have won the World Series ZERO TIMES, you need to bring in a man in a chicken costume to lighten up the league's basement. Padre fans need to laugh, otherwise they'd cry all day long.. On the first day of the season, the fans hold up signs that read, "Wait until Next Year" San Diego is pathetic. Even the football team moved out of town, and the basketball team left a long time ago. The only thing left is the zoo and the chicken!

As someone who used to live in San Diego and who's still a fan of the Padres and Chargers, I can confirm that this is true. 😭
