The San Diego Chicken needs to come back to San Diego

I was living in San Diego when the "KGB Chicken " made his first appearance ! He was a radio station mascot !! The radio station tried to use someone else !! WOW , that did not go well with all of us !! the best was when he came out of the big egg "REBORN " !

I know Ted, aka KGB Chicken, through my college roommate who was also a journalism major at the same time along with another friend who was in journalism. All my memories of the Chicken are from up close as Ted always showed up at the tailgate parties, during home games for the Aztecs at Jack Murphy Stadium, wandering the parking lot in costume fall 1974.

I met him once at my high school back when he was the KGB Chicken. I was wheeling a projector from the media center to a classroom at the time.

I worked at the Hellcion bar in point loma at the time? in1979 he would come in there and the place went to the moon !!!
