San has the most comforting voices in Kpop, in my opinion. His vocal tone just has this warm feeling that is also great for many other styles that Ateez goes for. His belting is my favorite of all his singing. His voice is a lot stronger than they show in most of Ateez songs, also this cover of Breathe is one of my cry songs, lmao. San's vocal are very overshadowed by his dancing and preformance abilities. San is the reason we got some of the cool shots we did in the Warriors video. He played a big part in the shooting, that you can see if you watch the behind for it. Warriors just feels like a song meant for San! San has said that he would like to act more, but that Ateez is just so busy right now. He did appear in the drama Imitation with Jongho, Yunho, and Seonghwa though. But San's ability to play a character while preforming is very mesmerizing. San has said that when preforming, Ateez songs or otherwise, he thinks about what the song is trying to say and will embody that theme. So it's no surprise for a lot of people that San is top-tier when it comes to preformance. Also the Wolf tattoo is not a real one, but he does a tattoo on his leg that matches with Wooyoung. San's duality is also something that needs to be studied, cause like with his cover of Breathe to Warriors, his behavior and personality can also switch that fast. San and Jongho really have complimentary voices. Anytime they harmonize it's just heavenly. San's voices shines brighter in their slower songs. He can showcase his vocals and his range a lot more. Also, San and Jongho are very distant relatives, so maybe that's why their voices sound so great together!

San is supposed to be the bridge in vocals between the members and jongho. During his debut days, he sang higher notes out of his vocal range, his voice became lower as he got older, and he almost got vocal nodules eventually and blood came out of his throat. So he had to retrain his vocals to reach to this level! San is the definition of "you can achieve anything if you work hard." He came to KQ with no prior dance experience and had to start from 0 to become one of the main dancers now.

I recommend their band live performance of turbulence it’s a slower song that shows all their vocal range really well

San, Yunho, Seonghwa and Jongho have all appeared in a drama called Imitation and they all did such a good job .... Yunho especially .... also the Imagine Dragons dance performance was choreographed by San and BBTrippin

San's voice really is something special. His tone is beautiful and his range/variety is insane.

Because San is the performance master sometimes his vocals aren't noticed which sucks because he is such an incredible singer with a very wide range. He is so talented its kinda crazy how much he's evolved over the years he even was finally given the main dancer title officially recently. If you're gonna watch any fancams i suggest his thanxx, halazia, deja vu & hala hala performances he truly puts on a show every stage & its always different from the last. You should also dive deep into their discography they have a lot of different songs some of my fav slower ones are take me home, with you, mist, the letter, youth, turbulence, aurora, thank you, mingis solo songs tunnel & untitled, still here & not too late.

THIS IS WHY SAN IS CONSIDERED THE STANDARD FOR KPOP! PLEASE STICK WITH REACTING TO ATEEZ! FOUR YEARS AGO I CAME ACROSS ATEEZ AND MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BE THE NEXT BTS. THEY ARE THAT GOOD!

If you haven't seen IT's You (Yeosang, San, and Wooyoung's unit song), I'd do Wooyoung or Yeosang next because after those three you can watch it. Wooyoung has two dance covers: a Studio Choom Artist of the Month and a song by Logic, the title of which is the suicide hotline number. He also has a vocal cover of Etham's 12:45. I can't recall an official dance cover by Yeosang, but when he was the MC of The Show, he and the other MCs did a cover of EXO-CBXs Blooming Day. Yeosang has an informal cover of Paul Kim's Me after You which he did way back and a recent cover of Hug Me.

Breathe is a song written by Jonghyun of SHINee for LeeHi. And our angel Jonghyun was smiling on him the day this was released. Sannie really did a stunning job. He totally understood the meaning. The Imagine Dragons choreo was created mainly by San with help of BBTrippin. He worked since predebut to get the body to pull this performance off. It shows. He was outstanding. And yes, it’s filmed at the same historical site as Suga’s Daechwita. It’s a famous filming site. We need more Choi brothers collabs in the future no doubt. They are just amazing together. The harmonies 🤩🫠 I hope with younger to JongHo that you’ll include his cover of Ditto by NewJeans that he did with Maddox, one of their producers/fellow artists/friend under KQ. Maddox is absolutely outstanding. And he’s the one that does any of the spoken word things in their albums. Like Intro: Long Journey.

Breathe was a really special song to me and it became even more special when San covered it(san is my comfort person). Also he said he sang that song to his younger self and it made him even more relatable for me

❤ I know he's wanted to do this for a while. The Warrior song was made for a game league of legends. Which he has played. And he based(his performance perspective) off a character named Sylas. Even his Wardrobe. You should watch the making of his dance performance 😊 Also I think someone else already put this but he wants to act just Ateez is too busy right now. And I believe he would kill the industry. All the thought he puts into to his characters relating to what he believes the songs betraying.. He'd be like one of the best method actors to me he could play anything.❤❤

Edited because I got some info backwards as pointed in the replies. Thank you for correcting me! This is why San is typically coined as ATEEZ’s lead vocalist. Jongho is our main vocalist and San is right behind him as our lead. Unfortunately San and Jongho don’t have another duet. The members have JUST started releasing these “special clips” over the last year-year and a half-ish. It started with giving Atiny a special song cover for their birthdays and now we get a few extras here and there. The only member who has a lot of content like this is Hongjoong called By.Hongjoong. Mingi has recently-ish given us a couple of special clips that are incredible. They show a completely different side of him that is just… stunning. With that said, it’s hard to believe that the dancer in Warriors started out his career not knowing how to dance. He got through his audition on vocals alone. Yunho and Mingi really helped shape him into the dancer he is today, along with the choreographers they worked with in LA pre-debut. Now he’s this monster stage performer!

Jongho is ATEEZ's main vocalist. San is their lead vocalist. For most native English speakers, the words mean the same thing, but in kpop the main vocalist is their best vocalist.

will never forgive kq for not promoting san as the amazing vocalist he is :( the fact that a lot of ppl who don't know atz assume he's the rapper at first and not the lead vocalist... i wish he got more opportunities to SING in atz songs especially in their recent catalogue. he's my favorite male vocalist in kpop and so under-appreciated. he auditioned to be an idol because he loved singing and i want him to get recognition as a vocalist just as much as he does for being a great performer/dancer bc he loves singing!! also i feel like if he ever releases his own solo music, he will be extremely successful from his popularity, vocal talent, dancing, and charisma. he's such a star

sadly san is so underrated as a lead vocalist. people forget he joined as a vicalist with 0 dance knowledge, so his vocals is what got him in. also, i wish kq let him show off more of his vocal range in albums. also, when u say his vocals is very airy, he can easily switch it up according to the song. his range lets him change up based off the song. san has choreography credits for warriors. also he has acted before! in a show called 'imitation' with some of the other members. if you want to watch more of sans expressions, his fancams are really fun to watch. theres videos about his stage presence that you might like.

I would say probably 90% of the time Hongjoong is my bias and San is usually top 3 but seriously what i wish for most is a mini album of live band with jongho giving a duet with each member separately 😂😂😂 what a silly and unrealistic dream i have but i think it would totally hit the spot plus it would give us another choi brother duet! San is truly all rounder of the year, like every year in my books!

I’m loving this series!! When you get round to doing Mingi I have some video suggestions!! Otherwise I would recommend that this is what you do for Mingi’s video. I think they give great insight to his lyricism, tone, and style!
