I enjoyed the tour ride. I was hoping he would stop to eat something so that I could feast my eyes. I'm here in Los Angeles. I was born in San Antonio and was living in the westside as a child. Left San Antonio in 1964 and came back to visit in 1979. San Antonio sure has changed. It has gotten bigger and beautiful. I have relatives living there. My father is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. My father was Don Sanchez and he would frequently write letters to the editor on San Antonio Express Newspaper. He was well known by readers of this newspaper..

It’s exactly how I expected it to be, but it’s cool to have video evidence backing it up. San Antonio has a very low population density for a city with a population over 1 million (1,110/km^2), so I always imagined it to be lot like this barley any traffic super breezy to drive through.

San Antonio is actually pretty dense. The urbanized area portion which covers about 590 square miles has upward of 2.2 million people in a metro area between 2.6-2.7 million people. The downtown area has dense infill however the skyscrapers are not grouped next to each other they are spread out. The historic significance and historic preservation such as viewshed regulations near major landmarks like the Alamo have height restrictions of tall buildings in close proximity. Most all of the city's major F500 corporations and other large companies are all located outside the downtown area.

I grew up in San antonio miss the days when you could spend the whole day shopping going to the Aztec theater watching a triple godzilla feature those were the good times I'm sure alot of other cities have gotten away with that environment not much shopping around anymore

32:20 That building behind tower of America is where I live. It's part hotel, but also part condominiums. My balcony looks like a death trap being so high up, but my kids like it (I'm not a big fan, although it has a great view).

@@theanonymousasmrchanelguid2620 What's wrong with Phoenix, what isn't wrong with Phoenix? First off, you cant go outside and do anything for more than half the damn year because temperatures reach 114 on average in the summer. Everything is ugly and beige, people are disgusting and rude. Phoenix has some of the worst traffic in the entire country with over 320 fatalities from traffic accidents each year. Droughts are insanely popular in the Phoenix metro area where one wont see rain for a very long time unless they get lucky due to a tropical storm in the gulf or pacific. Prices are unbelievable for homes and apartments. An average 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment will run you around $1,895 a month depending on the area. In 3 years it will be just as expensive as L.A if not more!! That's just scratching the surface lol!!

@@theanonymousasmrchanelguid2620 Hey, I just left that place last year and moved to Texas and I tell you its so much better!! I lived in phoenix for 11 years and will never return, it was so hard to get out of that place but at soon as I got my job in the Animation Industry I was up and gone. I work from home so I am happy I landed that job because I can pretty much live anywhere. Tucson AZ is even worse I call that place crack head central its a smaller phoenix but drugs run through that city like its crazy!! Most of the small towns are on Indian reservation so unless you belong to a tribe forget it. You can live in the ones not located on the reservations but it isn't worth it in my opinion a bunch of idiots that live in the rural areas. If you do move to the Phoenix Metro area the best places would be in the suburbs such as chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert. However no matter where you go in Arizona prices are going through the roof!! Tempe is for college students and quite expensive, Mesa you get a mix of retired folks and students a like but also attracts lots of snowbirds!!, Gilbert is the cheapest compared to anywhere else in that area and also has the least amount of crime. There is also Glendale on the west side but I would stay clear of Glendale at all cost it has one of the highest crime rates. It does have the cardinals stadium and Westgate with a great shopping center. Whatever suburb you go to it has its own attractions so you don't have to venture so far away. Everything is spread out so it makes it a nightmare for commuting if you have to.
