How many years until the Spurs are contending in the West?

Maybe 1-3 years, Massa. They can contend besides their future is bright already. And hey, can you rebuild the 2015-2016 Cavaliers after they won the championship. What if Kyrie didn't get traded and they at least repeat or try to get a three-peat.

I feel that were probably two years away. More moves this off-season and Wemby’s progression will hopefully make us a playoff team at least by next year.

If they trade for Trae and got another solid prospect/traded the pick for a good wing this offseason, i think they could try to set on playoffs as their goals next season. Sochan at 4 can put up good numbers & defense, and Keldon Johnson also kinda solid (for some reason mostly coming off the bench this season) but they are inconsistent. Vassell as 3rd scoring option (asssuming Trae as 2nd opt) should be okay, as he prove he is pretty solid this season. As for the bench, Tre Jones, Zach Collins, Branham should be solid bench piece imo.

The Charlotte's pick on the 2nd season was yours I think. - 12:06 Because it was already been protected the year before (1st season) projected 3rd but ended up at 4th - 3:17

Fanspo says the pick is protected 1-14 in both 2024 and 2025 (turns into 2 2nds if it doesn’t convey) so I don’t think I would’ve or at least should’ve gotten it unfortunately

I hope so! Don’t think he gets the credit he deserves for how solid he’s been in the minutes he’s played. Seems like the only logical choice at this point imo

5+ year rebuilds are coming after the actual NBA season ends. I tend to have more free time once summer rolls around so I’ll be able to record longer then. I could try to force it and record 5 year rebuilds rn but the quality would be even worse imo
