I always thought Altered Carbon had one of the best depiction of a Cyberpunk atmosphere, the fact that this songs fits perfectly just proves it. Great idea pairing them togheter!

Indeed. First season was amazing. S2 was such a let down. Watch the animated movie resleeved

It started as a buggy joke. And ended as one of the greatest games of all time. Cyberpunk will forever be my favorite game. Top 3.

The chorus of this song is so good ..I could listen to this loop all day..night city is such a sad and lonely place where no one ever gets to be happy

I make a point of letting the credits roll to the end every time it zeroes. And every time I burst into tears. This song is probably the most powerful song I've ever heard. Along with "How Can I go" by Freddie Mercury

Perfect match with Altered Carbon. Especially the first season which I personally loved. It was a pure definition of cyberpunk dystopian (or maybe utopian 😄) future 💙

I played in cp2077 and two things what remember after play - alter carbon and edge runner 2049. I also install let to be flight mod, for feeling fly from 1 episode of serial

It's incredible how Altered Carbon flirts with cyberpunk 2077. It's perfect.

OMG, this is the best part of the song! We must never stop fighting! Love this!

I play my first playthrough with Takemura ending. I literally just frozen up in front of credit scenes for straight 20 minutes while this song playing in the background is really gut wrenching.

I remember the trailer and this song played. Game me chills, so much feels in one song. If you can fall in love with a song , it'd be this one energy.

I BAWLED with this playing after the Johnny Temperance ending. It felt like the real ending in that moment.

He learned from V (I had high relationship but also tried to just help out) that you can mourn and move on without forgetting("I miss you V, but I cant keep carying you around anymore" and setting his best choom to rest) that your own pain does not justify treating people like shut, and that it will take far more than physical violence to change a broken system and that even if you can't save the world you can still Save yourself.

@@vxabyss5498 I’ve only read the first book of the trilogy but it’s what S1 was adapted from. - I re watched S1 after reading and certainly didn’t like the liberties taken (Reileen is NOT Kovacs sister in the book - Meredith is supposed to have the body of an 18 year old) The cyberpunk atmosphere of the show and book is just unmatched - glad to know other fans exist too haha

Frpm what i know the author was considering continuing the books with how popular season 1 was but i e heard nothing else since. Season 1 was amazing if you dont compare it to the books,

Maaan this game broke me.If there ever was a game I wish I could forget so I could replay it would be this

I envision myself slowly fading away in my wife's embrace and my children with grandchildren around. The sun cast its last sunbeams on my wrinkled face as I look out of my panoramic windows at the beautiful snowy Alps. Warm tears are trickling down my cheeks as I realize I made it, I completed my story on my own terms, I became a night city legend and stayed with Aldecados at the same time. And then it goes: A thing of beauty....I know...Will never... But the peculiar part is that this song hit me the most when I completed the Devil's ending cyberpunk. When V was lying flat on the bed as Arasaka were gearing up to extract his soul to Mikoshi so as to make him their poppet got in my nerve and made me sick at heart. I'm sure all of us have such an ending in our story and if we make wrong decisions we'll end up on our deathbed hopeless and regretful of our actions.

I know the video is from altered carbon but it really looks like Saburo looking upon his city thinking about what he has to do to save it and in the end he was seen as a monster, fading away in his fathers shadow.
