just really discovered this song (i kept getting sidetracked because there was so much to do and never finished the game so never got to this) Goddamn this edit is exactly what i wanted after hearing the full version. Just grabs you by the seat of your heart and squeeze it raw.

Finally some good edit for this one! But honestly I'd be amazed if this one could've also synced the original NFA loop, like in the ending both Woman and Man(Johnny in LORE) sing "A THING OF BEAUTY, I KNOW WILL NEVER FADE AWAY!"

Every time I play this, the same flashes of Alt being taken and Johnny holding her lifeless body keep appearing in my head. It’s why I couldn’t give two shits about leaving Goro behind, and why I didn’t mind letting Johnny take the wheel when he took us to Mikoshi. I still chose to let V keep his body in the end, but Johnny taking everything from Arasaka by hand will always be poetic to me. Let Johnny’s fighting spirit be a reminder to all: THE SOUL OF A SAMURAI BELONGS TO NOBODY!

Absolutely, this game executed on a much higher level than critics gave it credit for due mainly to launch bugs but behind that is a sick storyline than was deeper than many gave it credit for.
