The shinobi fight was always the most interesting fight IMO. Mostly due to the artwork. The way it balances out light and dark

I got to watch the old series on tv, the light vs dark was amazing. Course really any of Jacks fights are epic and Aku is just the perfect evil guy. Was really disappointed on how they ended the original, and incredibly happy when I got to watch it complete.

Yeah that Matchup was tough for Jack especially, normally he'd use his immense skill to beat opponents bigger and stronger than him, but this Guardian guy was also able to keep up with him in fighting skill, Young Jack didn't stand a chance, I wouldve loved to see old jack fight him tho, since he should be worthy by then

Even today "Samurai Jack" still looks good. Everything was done right on it.

Jack is OUTRAGIOUS he changes styles, makes use of any weapon he get's ahold of Seamlessly, Adapts on the Fly, can Switch from Defense to offence while Reading not only the opponent but the surroundings like no other in fiction.

I loved the guardian, he was so full of himself and charismatic, but the best part it's that he wasn't a robot or a magical creature, but just a human being with pure sheer force and with that he dominated jack much more than any foe he faced.

The Shinobi fight is even better in full as the shadows change over time.

When he fought those basket robots and had to call on his ancestors! That brought tears to my eyes. Even the robots were stunned.

Even though Jack knew he couldn’t defeat Aku without his sword, he knew Aku would cheat as it is his nature, Jack must have had some satisfaction of pummeling his greatest enemy with his fists.

The robot assassins with Jack gaining the power of the heavens is one of the best episodes of the series and some of the greatest scenes ever put on tv

Despite so many of them having such great visually artistic take, I think my favorite is the bounty hunters trying to take him down: the whole episode is spent envisioning their strategy which then falls apart in ways they didn't think it could, all within merely seconds, the realization of which hits the remaining bounty hunter; all wrapped up nicely by giving her a motive that doesn't let her loss feel like a simple happy ending. It just felt real to me. Often we have something play out in our heads in various ways only for the events to take turn in a direction we never expected and for two people being at odds with one another, despite them probably having common ideals and goals.

That's what I loved about that episode and in the end everything She said came true. He's stronger than he looks and his weapon easily defeated the Russian, His didn't fall for a meager distraction, and his senses were sharp enough that he was able to pick up the moment that the blow dart was coming. Following it up that in terms of strategy he was able to utilize the strengths of the final assassin to his advantage. Its not plot armor, Jack litterally spent his entire life working on those skills. (I always had a head cannon that the princess would come back to work with jack later on. Yet that never came to fruition.)

It took Jack 50 years to get back to his own time and aku 10 seconds to recover.

When Jack was defending against an army of beetle drones, THAT was crazy. One man versus an army of four armed scythe wielding robots

Two Googolplex is beyond crazy. That is 20 to the two hundredth power, so that's 20 plus two hundred zeroes behind that, and that Merida-looking bounty hunter was gonna multiply that by ten to the entire crew...does not compute

Well, let's say that one googolplex is barely enough to buy/free an entire nation. She promised to make all their people free and others. I like to think Jack learned this and let her live.

The extended fight from Season 3 Episode 4, where Jack has to take on hordes of undead warriors is so amazingly choreographed and deserves recognition as one of the best fights of the series!

The final battle between jack and aku in season 5 was awesome

@@doorkum Not somehow, by aku himself, is obvious he would die against aku, the guardian had no real way of defeating aku since it can only be harm and killed by the sword, the guardian was going to lose in the end with no real way of harming aku.

I love this show. I loved it when it made a debut on Checkered Past.

The final fight against Aku, the creative team used Mako's lines from episode one for this scene, bringing the entire series (Like this scene of Jack reappearing in the past after his past self was sent to the future) to a complete circle. Thank you, Adult Swim Team, for putting so much love and care into creating the final season of Samurai Jack, and giving us fans the ending we've been wishing for years!

Dear God, this was the best Show Cartoon Network ever have creat in their TV-history. 🖤🖤🖤 And the most more original. Since then, CN have never been orginal about animation creativity.

the spartan episode was the best. the way they both adapted to the spartan losing his sword and them changing rolls was perfect. jack on defense the spartan on offense. and then the final eulogy of the spartan king as he tells the story at the end was amazing. perfect story tellling.

One of the Best fights in the show has to be Jack vs the Horse Demon. The visual style and the sound effects were superb!

12:39 the Ultra Bots fight was so amazing. The fact we see Jack duel a group of Aku powered robots with different skills and weapons, using them against one another, and the cut the final one in a single slash: it's perfect.

I love that duel between Jack and Aku. And while Jack is easily the superior fighter, Aku is surprisingly skilled in hand-to-hand combat. And the fight could have gone differently had Aku stayed calm and kept in mind that Jack cannot win. He agreed to fight without his sword, so all Aku has to do is wear Jack down, and he doesn't even have to cheat to do it. The problem of course is Jack knows Aku and how he is. Aku being quick to anger would forget, or not even take into account, that Jack simply cannot win without his sword, so Jack gave a set of rules that Aku will easily break once he's pissed off enough, thus allowing Jack to use his sword, since everything's fair game now.

Man Genndy was way ahead of his time. Thanks for making our childhood a little bit brighter with such a masterpiece.

Literally sat here mesmerised with how fast and how aggressive the combat was,love the pace made you feel as if you were him fighting,I also loved how they changed his auestetic like the beard and he adapted to his environment,quality stuff

I remember few more great fights. 1. Against these Anubis warriors in "Egypt" 2. When he was abducted to great arena and had problem with getting his katana back 3. Fight against army of robo-bugs in one of first episodes 4. This previous favourite of Aku that used souls (i think?) of defeated warriors 5. Scot (maybe i remember wrong and appreciate the character himself) Edit:6. The best hunters in galaxy that were chasing him half the city, actually nice guys;D Nice film anyway +

I remember when this was on late at night as a kid staying up till 3AM such an underrated program and is never been given its flowers,the fighting and combat was ahead of its time 💪🔥

If any one is interested, watch this show. It won like 15 awards and is considered one of the best animated shows of all time.

The best thing about fights in Samurai Jack is how they all have something unique to make them stand out. It's not just replacing the villains, but a certain extra spice added, such as the animation style, what Jack has to do to overcome an opponent, the reason for the fight, etc.

In the 2000s we only had one tv at home and my dad never let me watch cartoon network when he came back from office because he wanted to relax and watch the news but he loved samurai jack, whenever I was watching, he watched it along with me, he absolutely loved it.
