People love newer anime like AOT, Demon Slayer, JJ Kaisen (which are good shows) but the classics like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Yu-Yu Hakusho, Ruroni Kenshin, Tri-gun will always hold a special place locked in my treasure chest of memories.

@@HelloThere-bj9rw I partially agree but I'll admit, if it was 2003 again and I was a kid and I seen JuJestu Kaizen or Demon Slayer, I'd be lost for words(in a good way) . It's very few new anime that's good but the ones that are good /unique are really good / unique

Late night adult swim was a whole new level of existence. Time didn't matter. I rewatched Bebop a few weeks back and finished it super late at night, the way it was meant to be watched 😂

I always thought Spike was caught in a time loop of death. As for Faye, Jet, Ed, and Ein I have no idea, but Spike is definitely trapped in an infinity loop of life and death.

god whenever i listen to any of the nujabes songs i just want to go adventure all over the world, thats how freedom sounds like

I was in the Air Force when Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo were on Adult Swim. They became instant classics for me...I have all the episodes for both shows. For me, both shows had three things working for them: great stories, great characters, great music. I remember the episode where Ed and Ein left the Bebop, and it broke my heart. I loved the "Ying & Yang" relationship of Mugen and Jin and in turn they looked over Fuu like a little sister. That's how I saw it. Man, listening to this music brings me back to those Saturday nights watching Adult Swim. 😁

Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop are my two favorite anime series. The characters and stories were great, and the music in both was absolutely top notch.

This can cure depression.

I listen to this when I'm feeling it, always great and I have the urge to return to go back to Samurai Champloo

damn idk why but when Faye says that it hits me so hard.I started to idolize spike- or at least just saw a part of myself reflected in his character.So when she pleas I felt as if she was pleading with me to not throw my own life away over one event, and when he just kept going it was almost like watching myself do what I tell myself to everyday. The weight is knowing the tragic end is what he wanted, almost like watching myself go through with it. crazy anyways ill be getting back to my brain numbing 9-5 wishing life were more less tragic.

As some one who grew up with a bunch of anime old heads shows like these and Gundam will remain some of my all time favorites I remember watching hours of box sets of anime with my dad's friends. Old school Mecha is the reason I love Mecha so much shouts to the robotech era.
