I'm so tired of "tech reviewers" saying the camera isn't good. I must say I am thoroughly impressed with my z flip 3 camera quality! Great video!

I also think compared to most phones, the z flip 3's camera is pretty exceptional. However, I got my z flip 3 by trading in my Galaxy S20 and I must say, I really miss my S20's camera lmao

@@figbyfig5592 damn I can imagine the difference in quality haha. Samsung has always been notorious for having cameras that over saturate their images, maybe that's why you're not used to the kind of pictures the z flip 3 is capable of producing

I love that you can use the main camera's when the flip is closed. And i am a amateur photographer. I do alot of macroshots and landscapes with big clouds. The photos are sharp and more then good enough for social media and even for printing. The hdr is very good...if people want an expert camera the you have to buy the s21 ultra or the iphone 12 pro max...tnx for this great video!!

I'm officially a fan and a subscriber. You're a realistic reviewer. People are really spoiled and keep saying the camera is trash. When in fact from your clear demonstration it's really good

since the cover display preview is "landscape"...does anyone know if the video done using the cover display while folded results in a portrait or landscape video or square ?

Exactly nowadays every KZreadrs treat the phone like it's DSLR camera when in reality most top tier phones have lost to average phones in a blind test , the average person which I'm one of them only want bright sharp camera and it's accomplished by many companies nowdays

I have been waffling back and forth from upgrading from my s20 ultra to S21 ultra of the Flip. I see lots of comparisons for the camera which is a bid deal for me. But, I am wondering how they compare for close-up pics of everything, not telephoto? A telephoto shot is best for a dsrl. I have never liked the telephoto shots from any camera phone, they dont zoom in right compared to a dslr with a prime lens.

The photos looks great they look even better watching this on my z flip 3 that steak looks sooo nice made me hungery I'm finding that the photos are better on this phone than my original z flip.As for the battery 🔋my phone now has got use to my usage and I get 1 day 5 hours on a full charge it's not bad I love this phone 📱😘

Thanks for the video! Just a few thought that you can maybe pick up in one of your next videos. I have zflip 5G and switched from my pixel 2 xl to it. When I did that I was expecting at least the same quality from the camera as the pixel 2, given the 3-4 years between the releases. But at best it is equal and zooming into pixel pictures shows clearly better quality. I therefore was a bit disappointed and tried the Google camera app on the z flip which actually led to better results. I therefore don't belong to the group saying that the camera is bad but there ist room for improvement that I'm hoping for on the 3 which I ordered and I'm sure I will love like the current 5G. Thanks

I am having some issues with the focusing when there's a dim lightning. Photos (especially in selfie mode) are hella blurry. My old xiaomi took better photos in low lighting conditions and that cannot be right. I didn't temper with any of the settings so not sure what might be the issue. Any advice?

alot of times is the screen. In the phone itself you dont see what the actual photo looks like. thats becasue the screen is not as good

It takes nice pics in good lighting. Returned mines and got the S21 ultra. I'm a screen snob.

The bottom line for me is that I have a Nikon DSLR for a reason. That goes on vacation with us all the time. If you want professional pics then your phone isn't your answer. No matter how good you think the cameras are a dedicated telephoto on a real camera is the only way to go if you want real quality.

@@samsantana Because I have this phone and I do take pictures with my phones. I just don't do it to memorialize my life. I use it for things like taking pictures of my rental cars before I sign the contract. My point is that if I'm going to take a picture that I blow up to 24 x 36 it most likely won't be with a camera that resides on my phone.

@@chethammer which proves my point... the use case you provided doesn't need a good camera at all, and literally ANY phone sold today will more than fulfill that need and so I ask again, why are you watching a video about a phone 'camera' specifically? surely that would be the last feature you would care about... I own a few cameras, a Canon M5, a Sony A7R3 and a multitude of compact cameras as well as a Huawei P30Pro, so you could say I'm also into photography, however I want to get the smallest phone possible with the a decent camera which is why I'm here (also looking at an iphone 13 mini). I'm not about to comment on how much better my cameras are at taking photos because that's irrelevant to the point of this video however.

I honestly can't tell the difference in the pictures between my Flip 3, S21 and Pixel 6, but I don't scrutinize my pictures like a professional photographer would. I have found that I enjoy using my Flip over the other two phones especially since I put Samsungs Aramid case on it. For those of you that have a Flip 3 I highly recommend this case. It adds an amazing amount of grip in both your hand and any surface you set it on. It is expensive, but I have never had a case that offers this much grip and it looks great too all while adding very little weight or bulk to the phone.

how to add camera when it fold?

hey thanks for the review. Does the cover screen in AOD mode show you the notifications icons? Like a normal AOD does? Like if I have a whatsapp message, the icon will show up on the AOD, or do I need to swipe the screen to the right to go to my notifications first?

I think what a lot of people don't realize is that the pics they take will look better on a higher resolution device because the flip3 only has a 1080 resolution screen and the camera is technically shooting better then what they are seeing. Just my thoughts tho I could be wrong.

May sound like a dumb ques but can't tell from video. When you open the phone completely flat to take a photo, does the entire screen become your camera monitor? Or only the top half screen? Thanks!

Hi anyone else experiencing really grainy video problem when they send videos to friends or post videos on insta of Facebook? When I watch the videos on my phone quality is great but as soon as I send them it drops to extremely grainy and partially Pixelated. This never happend on my s10. at first I thought it was cause I was shooting in 4k but even in normal fhd the same happens

Have always liked compact phones. Have been and always will be a Samsung guy. I passed on the first flips but when I seen this one I immediately said I'm getting it. I pre ordered the flip 3 in the 256gb. So far after a week of having I love everything about the phone. Im not a pro photographer but when I'm taking video it's normally with my go pro. The actual photos I have been satisfied with. Heading to California this weekend and will definitely take more photos so we shall see how all those look. Truly enjoy your videos and keep em coming!

no not really it has just new software but the camera isn't better at all

I don’t mind my phone camera as long as it works fine. If I want to shoot vlogs if I travel abroad, I’d prefer to use a mirrorless camera.

Its good but coming from a 12 pro max i can definitely see the difference in low light the colors in anything but perfect light look washed out

I love this camera because of it has almost bumpless

Frankly, the wide angle is quite disappointing to me. I bought this phone hoping to take nice selfies with my wife and with our friends, but unfortunately in the evening, even in interiors, it's not usable. The details are so low, it's really bad compared to the normal lens which does a good job. So overall, the photo quality is good, but unfortunately not for my usage.

I have the Z Flip3 since it came out. Nice phone, amazing probability... horrible battery and awful camera. I came from a Huawei Mate 30 Pro as I couldnt use it anymore due Google ban on Huawei and needing Google to work. Just to say I still use the other phone as a camera device because this one can't compete even though its more expensive and new. I'm totally thinking about getting an IPhone next time

Everytime I research about camera qualities of phones, I find myself wondering wtf I want to do with that phone. I always find myself making selfies and maybe some shots of landscape. Why does the camera has to be top notch if I'm just a normal human. What in jesus name do people want to do with their phone camera, most of them surely haven't made proper pics ever

The focus on camera comes from people who are professional KZreadrs that uses cameras for living I can't blame them but the other massage which has been demonstrated by MKBHD on his camera comparison videos which surprisingly the average phone won it should be discussed more I think also the difference between apps optimization is more important than just saying the iPhone got the best camera

the only drawback now is the battery capacity

Be honest people, ones that you think have "good cameras", you think the cam actually dont capture you well but that is how you look alike in real life. 108mp imaging sensor cant be worse than 12mp.

My iPhone camera died within a year of owning it (everything is just blurry now. Cant even clean it.) and I know Samsung has been upping their camera game and I want this phone but I’m afraid of the camera dying a year or so later.

Simple Samsung wanted to keep the cost down and make a cutting edge phone but at a price that might persuade people to jump on the folding phone idea . Before other makers start to really join the market.

I just lost my iphone 12 pro which is fantastic since I owe $900 still. Definitiely the last time I buy into the new iPhone for $1400+ every year. However, my huge issue is not being able to use my apple watch...Too many benefits of having one to let it go. Like I want the z flip 3 or or even the fold 3 so bad, the transition would feel absolutely liberating. Why can't Samsung make a watch that doesn't look like a g shock or some bulky sports watch that has more functions. Is Apple really the only company to step up to the plate? Sadman, I hope I figure something out. - I did see that you could have multiple lines on one phone. I have two lines so I wonder if I could use an old iphone to setup and make changes to my watch, then have all calls/texts go to my flip... No, that wouldn't work either. Ugh, someone save me from Apple!

I'm actually considering getting rid of my z flip 3 because the camera is so bad. My note 10 took better photos. They look fine until you zoom in AT ALL. Then you have a pile of pixelated garbage. Idk maybe I just got a bad unit but I can definitely agree with all the nay sayers

I don't get why people are saying the cameras are awful. like, sure theres better out there but that don't mean these are terrible

It isss a flagship it's normally $1000 for this phone at launch and now u can get it for like $360 before tax on eBay lol 😆

when I take a photo or video with my flip 3 it looks pretty good and colorful on my gallery but when I send it to someone through like Instagram or something it loses that color anybody knows why?

I had a Samsung S9+ and it took better pictures than the Flip 3 or Flip 4. The funny thing is that the video (UHD 60) has a higher quality than taking a picture. So obviously they "could" make it take better pictures but for some odd reason Samsung doesn't. WHY????????????? Why is my S9+ with a single lense (2 sensors though?) taking better quality pictures. I post a lot and even my friends have noticed the poorer quality pictures :/

Why would my camera quality be terrible? Bought it today and it looks much worse than this.

Camera is using an old sensor, phone has 3300 battery, and has 15 watts charging. Do yourself a favor people and buy the s21 ultra . It would destroy this phone.

You're sacrificing alot of features just to be able to open and close your phone lol. But I get it everyone has their own opinions, nothing wrong with that.
