Now i see in the comments about some remotes being glued.. first I thought I broke the clips or something when opening.. Thank you, I have glued it together again!

I have the same remote, and the left side seems like it wasn't meant to open. Like there's a white lone over the plastic as if it were pulled and snapped. While the right side cracked open normally. I couldn't get anything into the left side, I think it was sealed shut by design

Its just that mine was glued 😢 Well, glue and two tyreps to dry did the job.. Just saying 😊

Some newer Samsung remotes are glued together now. They will pry open, but need regluing.

Yeah, my remote for Samsung 32" M4500 Series had glue but it came off easy with the guitar pick.

There are several videos showing how to easily open up a Samsung TV remote using a guitar pick. Meanwhile I have two Samsung remotes here that have top/bottom cases that I can't even pry apart with a screwdriver! At least not without breaking them. :( When exactly did screws become obsolete as a method of holding things together?

​@@nathansipes9551 Yes, mine too! Well, less like glued and more like welded. Like the plastic was just attached together by design. And only on the left side.

No, but if you have electronic cleaning solution that you can use. W40 is to oily and it will not only damage electronics, it's a B***h to remove all of it.

I cleaned 3 times and did everything the same,.. still not working☹️why😭
