Today I've got the brand new Galaxy Smart Tag 2 geni.us/SmartTag2 (Amazon affiliate link), and I couldn't wait to dive into it. In this unboxing, we'll take a closer look at its design, explore its features, and do a quick comparison with some of my favorite Bluetooth trackers that are already on the market. The Smart Tag 2 boasts some interesting changes, including a significant design shift with that enormous hole in the center. Speaking of changes, Samsung has also incorporated Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology into this new Smart Tag. If you've got a compatible Galaxy phone with UWB, you're in for some precise location finding. Now, a key aspect I wanted to know more about was the size difference compared to other trackers. I compared the Smart Tag 2 to the original Samsung Smart Tag and the Apple AirTag. As for battery comparison, the new Smart Tag uses the CR2032, just like the previous model and the Apple AirTag. You'll have to stay tuned for a full review to see how the Smart Tag 2 truly performs in action.
