Every single one of these Note 8 battery replacement videos has missing information and details. This one just directed everyone to damage or ruin the fingerprint sensor cable by failing to mention that it should be carefully disconnected before removing the back cover. I'm hoping that if I watch enough versions of these videos I'll get all the information I need to actually do the job correctly.

It is not true, not completely. The sensor's cable may just be disconnected by itself when you open the cover (happened many times to me repairing note 8). Btw, this is not an excuse to not mention the fact that you should be careful anyway doing it, I agree

I have a Note 8...Almost 3.5 years old still going strong. I would hate to do this job if the battery croaks.
Hi!! I wanted to ask you something. Did you try to open, for example, a J730 by using a TBK928 and a regular heat plate like those chinese one, like YX-999? Or the TBK928 it's only useful with the Samsung oven? Thanks!
why all the adhesives with these phones to remove cover? just 4 screws is that so hard/troublesome?

Same here I just purchased 2 Note 8 replacement batteries, one is extra hd 4600amh and the other 3200amh (same as original). I hope the hd one is same size and will fit but my friend owns phone shop so he can change them for me at minimal charge. Of course if I'd asked him to get me battery etc cost would be far higher LOL Ouch

Why does it sound like you sprinkled sand over your desk before doing this repair? When you pressed the note 8 against the table it made loud crunching noises like the front display glass is getting totally fucked up
