No it won't help, this rice thing is ridiculous, you need to open the device clean it first then if something still not working replace it.

Samsung j5 6 hom batan not warking

In future please turn off the music and explain what you're doing!!! This video ruined my phone. I used a guitar pick to loosen the edges of the screen as seen in the video but it was not explained that you should not go all the way around. Ended up hooking on a flex cable that connects the screen and tearing it... the screen is totally unresponsive now hence the phone is useless... Now I have to run out and buy a new phone.
