Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Real-World Test (Camera Comparison, Battery Test, & Vlog)
Ғылым және технология
Here is my Samsung Z Flip4 real-world test where I test the camera, battery, see if it's any better than the Z Flip3, and more. Oh, also a tour of some of the most popular photo spots in downtown Manhattan, me failing at trying to take an "instagrammable" photo, and more shenanigans.
Come watch!

Love this real world test. Just like the others. I just wish that the flip 4 had the same cameras as the ultra line and larger battery. If they had that I would have no hesitation in getting one. I always want the best camera 😀

The main cam I better in my opinion, they've had incredible pixel size from 1.4 μm up to 1.8μm which means that the night shots and especially night video should be much much better than on ultra

@@thealaris nope ultra binns to 2.4 um pixel size but only for pictures.

I was debating about either the flip 4 or the s22 ultra, went with the better cameras needless to say

I'd love the cameras to be on par with the ultra line but at the same time I'd hate to spend $2,000+ for an ultra fold/flip with 512gb 🧍

@@cw1161Those are 2.4μm are binned, while the real pixel size is still 0.8μm so they can't capture light so good, that is the main reason why Samsung loose to vivo, and especially iphone in night video, or other low light conditions, cause they can't heavy process every frame, like they do tho photos, that's why having so huge pixels is a better option
Forget about the real world tests (although they’re always needed), these videos are so informative and fun to watch. Love learning about the places you visit, so much that I think about exploring them myself. Now the cuts at the end!? Man, now those are the cherry on top. Amazing videos.
I will always watch these reviews. The vlog format is so unique and I'm always amazed at the great places you explore.
You are literally one of my faves to watch.. I love the real world format and also the history of New York that you always give!!! Keep up the awesome work!!
Yes, please do keep the vlog format. It makes you stand out from everyone and it's much more fun to watch and see a "real world review" rather than a studio one.
Yes! The one I was waiting for. Your reviews are always awesome.
This was such a great way to do a phone review video. Vlog x Tech Review….I love the combo. It was 20 minutes, but it was so easy to sit down, watch, & listen to everything. Enjoyed this so much.
Really nice format for a tech review! LOVE the tour and context!
Huge fan of this format always! There's so much to learn not just about the phone but of the many landmarks, local businesses and people. The stories always leave lasting impressions and make me want to visit them some day. 🙂
These blog type reviews are awesome! Keep up the great work!
Love this format especially the combination of history around all the landmarks! Just subscribed and looking forward to seeing more, keep up the great work! 🙌🏼
Bro I just found you rn... It's 2 am lmao. But damn I don't think I've seen a reviewer do what you do. You're honest and you put the camera through real shit. Not just that, but you take us through the real world journey. Awesome stuff, you earned a sub!
Man I’m an Apple guy all the way but I’m just here for the coffee, history, and your day in the life 😂 love the videos. Love the length of them too. Thank you for the content!
Always look forward to your entertaining and educational vlogs. Keep the format coming more often.
I will definitely continue to watch your Real-World Test format reviews. I really enjoy both the tech review along with so many places of interest in NYC. I'm always looking forward to the next one. So thank you!
Love your video format (the vloggy thing). Keep it up!
Love this style, you're opening New York's history to us! It's awesome!
Big fan of your content. Love how you include a mini-history lesson. I bought my ebike based on your review of the top ones to pick.
Yes continue this format. i love it 🥰
I have told you already but this format men! best youtube content these days for mee
I like this style of video. Mostly because of the traveling, and showing things most people don't see, or experience.
Great high quality informative and entertaining content, love the format. Can't believe the subscriber count. It should be way way higher.
Had ma dukes in the fold video and pappy in this one. The cogan cinematic universe is expanding. And a nice bit of my home borough in the review with good eats and the flip 4 that I’m dangerously close to buying after this. Great stuff as always.
Soooo good, keep them coming! Here is a review for you, flip phones are back, my first Motorola Startac brought a familiar at tge time "communicator" feel to the then emerging phone market. Flips are cool and feel familiar. Thanks for showing another piece of NY which will be on a future bucket list, the city always had this "unreal" feel to it, thank you for making it real! The other think that makes your reviews real is coffee and family, sister, Mom and now Dad, it make you real.
Ngl. Love the Vlog format, and if you made regular Vlogs I would watch them. I already look forward to your RWTs. NGL, has changed the way I watch tech videos. I’ve learned that I really am more into the real world usage of tech compared to the specs and production of most reviews, that just feel like ads at this point. We buy these fancy phones to use them in our lives. So this to me is much more useful than specs.
Really like the content. I purchased the flip 4. It's my first foldable smart phone. I like it so far no problems with the battery. So far. Anyway thanks for the content.
Top notch review videos!!! Never stop playa
Always enjoy your history/tech type vlog format! 👍😎 bloopers are fun to watch too! 😅
Great video! Just loved the history explanations, you made smartphone's reviews interesting again! congrats
Amazing architecture in the video today and I loved the combination of bike riding and images of the Brooklyn bridge. So great 😁
The first KZreadr and human on earth to mix tech and history.... Awesome
Yes the V-log/Real World Test is a great format. Do more. Don't even think to stop. Don't even think it.
Another great video! Love the trips the New York! Keep it up.
Definitely would watch more content like this. Quick pace is nice. Although I still like your more traditional tour style also. Basically, keep up the good work!
hon estly I think its a great format. being a guide I so much enjoyed you explorations into the texture of the city. actually just wanted to QuickClip through the video but then I got hooked. good job
Awesome as usual. By far the best review video format out there, informative and entertaining. I'm going to have to go back and watch each one again and make a list of all the coffee shops in NYC for my next visit from NZ.
Always impressed with the tech and the place you go, it give real insight
The use of the camera in Flex mode is a game changer for me. It makes it much easier to use than typical cell phones. My battery easily lasts two days.
I would probably watch any video you post tbh. especially with the quality you bring
I love this format of videos. maybe you can add something like random street interviews about the devices you're using just a suggestion. its hard improving on perfect.
Another entertaining and informative review and vlog.
Man ! I love your videos .👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The video i needed to see! Thank you for sharing your thoughts :)
I love this style!! Great review and I’m not sold on the flipping and folding phones quite yet
Getting a notification of a new video from you and Fisher is like expecting a new blockbuster movie to be released. Your content approach is magnificent.
Tour guided camera test..love it!
Love this format. Always look forward to when you release a new real-world test video! Can’t wait for the next one! 🙂.
Has to be one of the best content on tech. keep this going pls
I love your videos. Love the vlog format with the history of places, as I've said in comments on other videos of yours. One thing, though. Hertz is singular and plural, so you should say 120 Hertz, but also say 1 Hertz. It's the last name of the guy who formalized frequencies, etc in physics. Keep up the great work!
Definitely subscribing 👍 great work .
Another excellent video. Always look forward to these and definitely looking forward to the iPhone 14 real world tests.
Another great real world test! Keep it up!!
Been watching you since the days of your namesake when you did the best guides on how to root and ROM android phones. Keep it going man
this video, love it! thanks for doing this :))
Once again, very nice candid review, and bit of history...
fun review! I've had my flip 4 for exactly a week and my battery life is fantastic! once the phone learns your usage patterns it gets even better. I'm getting 6-7 hrs SOT. i can go all day without a recharge. but then again I'm not a super heavy user. there is also an opinion in the battery settings for light mode which helps the battery as well. thanks for the review!

Hey, as i love to take pictures, does it have a good camera? I travel a lot too, and heard it’s not dust resistant, it’s gonna be an issue right? How’s the screen doing so far? And the hinge?
@galaxystay9

@@cupcake4798 I think the camera is great! I have both the pixel 7 and iPhone 13 pro and I'm always doing camera comparisons, the camera holds its own against both of those phones, sometimes even better in my opinion. I've only had the phone 2 months so I haven't any issues with the hinge or screen so far! But I did get a protection plan just in case. Yes the phone does collect some dust on the edges of the screen and camera bumps but it's not that big of a deal for me. Overall I'm very happy with the phone.
Man i love you content
Love your videos! Do more reviews like these and in this format! Hope you remember me from Twitter hehe
Always loving this format, for the device, not my kind of devices because I don't find the use on my lifestyle for the folding feature of this size, but it's interesting anyways.
I love this video format. You are by far one of my favorite tech reviewers. Love the history, day in the life, and blooper reel at the end. Keep them coming.
Oh damn you're fun. New sub! Love the historical facts
Thank you for the New York information that you give, this is interesting. Interesting evaluation also. Santa is bringing me one!
I love the style of your videos! Coffee CHECK!
Great video as always
Great video as usual.. ❤️
if you record it, I will watch it. Excellent format and content. BTW, I did pick up the Flip 4, my first foldable. Had planned on the Fold 4 until the rumor that the S Pen would be stored in the phone turned out to be untrue. The form factor is kind of cool, but I'm likely to pickup the S 23 Ultra when it comes out and leave the folding phone community - unless Sammy figures out how to store the S Pen in the Fold.
I'd watch your videos even if I wasn't too interested in the tech reviews (which I am & love them all) because I love the coffee, snacks & food shots!
You make em’, I’ll watch. Fast format or not. Really like the NY historical tidbits…don’t leave those out. Thanks.
You know the cup holder is legit if an iced coffee survives a bike ride. 🤣 Enjoyed the video!
11:26 you look so happy here. It automatically make me smile!
Love the videos and makes me want to go to New York
The screen on the back is actually very useful. You can use it during video to see what you are filming
One of the few realest reviewers on YT,Thank you for the great work Sir.

Yeah we will watch your tech, history , travel vlog vids!👍
So another tidbit about the Brooklyn bridge, John A. Roebling also built the suspension bridge here in Cincinnati, which almost looks like the Brooklyn Bridge. I think he built ours in Cincinnati first before New York.
Absolutley I'll watch them! I really enjoy this format. Just wondering, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, are there any cases for it, or any skins? Only, the outside of it looks a little fraggile or possibly prone to scratching.
Thanks for showing me around manhattan, one of the city that I would love to visit one day! And of course with my favourite flip 4, have the same Color.
I wish for great health and a long and happy life for your Dad! He looked so cool. 😃 Dad buying a fold phone, I mean wow! And love your content style. Much appreciation and love from India
Great video!
Great video as always. Does the Z Flip 4 lAst as long as the Z Fold 4 as far as battery life goes?
just came upon this video...loved the content!...subscribed!

nice content about the Z Flip 4 really nice phone but not many upgrades stick with the 3 love seeing more sites of NYC so cool
Glad you got to spend the day with ur dad while making this video.
ANDDDDDD HEREEEEE WE GO!
Keep it up! 🙏 Thanks
This was an amazing video, thank you. I was thinking if I should bring my camera or flip4 to vlog in the USA 🇺🇸
Loved the video. I want to try this phone.
How would it be for concerts at night? Also scenery pictures?
Did it turn hot when you use it?
Yeah that part of "flicking it real hard and risking tossing it across the room" is the most anxiety giving in this design hehe 3:54 - yay, Calatrava . Thanks for taking us to see it. 9:53 - you app go split in half ! 11:44 - hi stock exchange ! 16:39 aww poor battery :( This thing must use only one half of it's chassis for battery housing ? Can not imagine a folding battery.
Great Impressions
Ab. Fab, "as always" but Sammy's Folders haven't quite hit the button for me yet & your photo samples convince me NOT to change this year - already have PixSixPro+iPh13Pro+S21. Strikes me that the "nice shiney edge" will soon start to show scratches with regular use as personal tripod. Yes, more please (but YT Shorts don't do it for me) - whatever works for you has been good so far. Always good to see Dad too 🙂
Do you know what the long term life / durability of the z3 and/or z4 are? Thanks
So the outside screen is a software update not a physical one . Would these features be updated to last years z flip ??
Goto setting battery then change the performance profile to light. Same speed but the baterry last much longer
Love the video! I'm still waiting on the iphone 14 release just to see what they come out with. Otherwise the zflip 4 is definitely top 3 😁
Great!! Channel With that share of places for people visiting them... 👍🏃💭
Good one!
Greetings, actually I'm here to ask about a different topic but seriously it will means a lot if you may answer me. I'm about to make a laptop purchase for software development and cyper security studies, I'm confuse between [apple m1 chip in macbook pro 13 inch] and [Asus Vivobook S " Intel Evo I7-12700H | Intel Iris Xe. Which one can endure the heavy IDEs and gives me a stability in performance + which one is better in general as a package? With all due respect and appreciation.
I still love my flip 3. Since i am not heavy user. Battery is fine with me. Camera is enough already. I love this form factor. Almost a year now. No problem. I am just hoping for software update for cover screen like flip 4
