Great video but something reviewers forget about the S Pen is that you don't need to put it on the back to actually use it, it's only for bluetooth gestures if you just want to use it for writing and drawing it doesn't need to be charge.

Yeah and it does stick to the side with magnets, like the Apple pencil with iPads.

Yeah, lot’s of these reviewers still don’t know how to use a tablet and just look at it how can it replace their laptops, and that’s why they don’t know how to review the stylus or tablets in general. Usually artists, like Brad Colbow, Teoh on Tech and Lisa from mymobiletech are my go to reviewers for tablets because they give out all the info I need on the stylus. My next tablet does good reviews for non artist use cases for tablets.

Most people with visual impairements like myself use the rear camera(s) of our tablets all the time. The bigger display helps immensely with seeing what's in frame, or seeing what's in front of us because the 'decent' camera can see far better than us. I really don't get why most people bash on tablet camera users. It's an accessibility aspect that all designers take into consideration.

@@thekingoflordagames3517 its important to me i paid 900 to 1200 it should have a great camera. just compared my tabs 8plus camera to my 2nd gen ipad pro. i was disappointed that ipad pro camera was clearer and better. felt like i was scammed

I love my ultra! I don't notice the notch and it's not an issue. It is huge but I got used to the size after a few days of use. I preordered mine with a trade in. I also got the keyboard as part of my deal. So I paid $653 for the entire deal. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Woww I paid around €1100 with the original keyboard

I got the book cover( 50 euros) and a wireless keyboard from Samsung ( 40 euros). The s-pen silo has an opening for easy take out and I'm honestly impressed with how well built the case is. Tablet is gorgeous, fluid, and Dex on it feels like a proper PC when the keyboard is attached. I'd recommend for those that want a huge display.

@@namnguyenhoai2010 I like how integrated with a sim card( 4g), with my tv via dex/ Samsung software, with my smart watch and phone everything is. The s pen support is unmatched, the touch display, and Android really. I don't need high graphics for work and I make do gaming on it. For me it's exactly what I needed

I was just wondering why i enjoy that much this kind of videos and I think are several reasons, first it's s great introduction to the experience with the device you are showing obviously, but also the way of tiny talk about the surroundings, the human experience of the video and the bloopers and of course, because you are a very nice person sir, that KS for sharing. Liked as always

I'd say waiting is best method or going with the base S8 instead. The LCD panel on their tablets are perfectly fine and looks great. My S7 at launch was under $600 with taxes included, and that was the 256 GB model.

Big Thanks for the "Bonus Footage" at the end David - always good to finish with a smile (I did!) Think there was a tablet in there too, but You and the Venues have become the stars of your vids 😉

You can attach the spen on tge side, it just won't charge it. You don't need tge spen charged to use it as a pen.

This has just about replaced my Dell XPS 15. Only booted that pc lately to scan some documents and print some envelopes on my HP all in one color laser printer. The Ultra HP printer driver prints fine on normal paper but it doesn't do envelopes or anything but the main paper tray. And it doesn't control the scanner. But otherwise the Ultra is great. Long battery life and lightweight. Detach keyboard and its the best lap streaming device in the world. I had an iPad Pro 12.9 inch but that's too small for multitasking and has a mindbending file system. Plus it did not play nice with Windows or my Note 20 Ultra phone. For a Windows/Galaxy person this can be a real laptop replacement. It's not for most I agree, way too expensive and limited apps. But perfect for some of us. Great review.

You can keep in on side like on ipad If you like it. Yes it wont charge then. But spen does not need to be charged to use is as spen. It just for Bluetooth functions

1:55, the S Pen DOES connect to the sides of the tablet. Magnets built on the long sides the device.

You can put the pen on top ir the sides it only charges on the back

Aside from the back, you can also put the S Pen at the top side of the tablet. You can magnetically attached it on the side just like the Apple pencil but it's not as strong as the magnet in the back and it does not charge. If practicality is your problem, you have that option. Lmao.

Unfortunately Brydge don't have a keyboard cover for the tab s8 ultra.

I bought an iPad mini 6 so I won't have to carry my ultra out n the world, I got the keyboard case wit the promotion, but its n the corner somewhere lol I just use the back cover because no one made cases

I currently own the Tab S7+ and I've been adding/removing the Ultra from my cart for the past few days but your statement about paying a high price for a mobile OS tablet makes me want to save for an iPad Pro model instead.

0:33 no idea if you want to give more details but I would want to understand more about how the sharing of the filming studio works between you, Michael Fisher, Jaime Rrrrivera. Like do you really have sinergies by sharing equipment, how you don't get in each others way, what the advantages of sharing are. Maybe how your production workflow is etc.^^ Seems you don't use complex camera shots where you need a robot camera arm, so you don't need to share such equipment. So each could have a MacBook pro for video editing, camera, some lights and basically that's the entire equipment (so no case for sharing really expensive equipment). I used in the past often Samsung tablets. In the mean time I tend to use surface pros instead of ipads/android tablets, surface is a good enough tablet and good laptop, so good for my use case.

You can put the S Pen on the side too.

As a digital artist I do rather galaxy tab ultra vs iPad Pro , is better for multitasking and I can use my favorite drawing app on a huge OLED screen

The wireless second screen is the reason why you would want this if you have windows laptop.

Personally I just rather my pins be in my tablet case like on the side. Always there when I need it but never in the way.
