I’ve always loved the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, but this time it doesn’t make much sense to me - these days you can easily get the Tab S9 FE for just a little more if not at the same price of this.

From watching this I can say thst this 2024 verison of the lite is no different from thr 2022 version model. Everything is the same except the chipset of Exynos 1280. I actually have that chipset on my A53 and even though its not top teir than Qualcomm, it does the job needed for everyday task along with power effiecenct to the battery lasting 1 to 2 days of usage. I have the 2022 version of the S6 lite a couole weeks back and Im loving it so far and the chipset i have is Qualcomm i needed something to balance my school work and entertainment. What's ya'll view on this?

The S6 Lite no longer makes sense. This one doesn't make sense at all. E1280, 4gb RAM and 64gb ROM in 2024? Wtf were they thinking?

this unit was released in our contry (Philippines) and its only available in 4gb ram and 128gb LTE only and its priced almost php20,000 or $400. edit yeah your right, the xiaomi pad 6 is definitly cheaper and i would consider the huawei matepad 11.5 cuz its even cheaper the xiaomi pad 6 but has better spcs that this tab S6 Lite hahahahah

How is the S6 Lite 2020 version faster than the 2022 version and the A9+....

This tablet does not make sense to me. It does what the 2022 model does but with future updates. Costs about the same as a S9 FE 6 Gb vs 4 Gb RAM with 128 vs 64 Gb storage as runs 60 Hz compared to 90 Hz on S9FE (6/128 €419) as A9plus (8 Gb/128 Gb version €269 yet no pen). Who buys this at this price?

I've been on the lookout for an upgrade of S6 lite. However, it's a huge disappointment that Samsung didn't increase S6 lite's RAM (still 4GB)! It's senseless to have a 4GB RAM tablet in 2024. How difficulty would it be to expand the ram?

Yes, I don't understand the idea behind this release. It's just some makeup added to an already old product.

For 400€+ this really does not make much sense if you can get the S9 FE, right now I am seeing an new entry deal price for 270€ for the S6 2024, this is the only deal I would consider if you just want a good entry tablet.

First ever video on s6 lite 2024, hopefully it will reduce in sometime with the ridiculous pricing

Does the tablet work with Samsung Good Lock?

I am looking for a cheap tablet mostly for KZread, Netflix, Prime Videos and so on. Will this be a good choice? In India it's on sale right now for around $300.

On Amazon this tablet is 330 USD (with a $100 Amazon gift card) but the tab s9 Fe is 350 USD. The tab is the obvious choice here, I think the s6 is bundled with the gift card just to push sales. Although it's technically 230 USD I think the $100 difference is worth it.

One question , you also checked xiaomi pad 6 , a very good tablet but doesn't have wide windwine 1 , so Netflix is on Standard definition even though has 305 ppi , so should I change to s6 ?

I'm actually very happy that Samsung is still releasing a tablet like this in 2024, now I have a reason to pick this new version up :D

STOP! PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS SCRAP! For your information the older 2022 Edition is nearly as fast as the new 2024 edition and it is VERY MUCH CEAPER than the new version! And both have the same other features, the only differce that's the update policy. For the 2022 Edition round about two years and fof the new 2024 Editon four years .

From the video I see the color shift at angle is quite bad.

Tab S9 FE is much better choice

i have 2020 version, screen is treble, when use an app for a while, some shadow remains on the screen, 2022 also has this problem when tab s9 fe series are there why Samsung make this s6 lite ?

It seems S9 FE 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM makes more sense.

Got this on sale for $250 cad, definitely worth it. The s9 fe is not worth the upgrade at $450 cad on sale(reg $599)!

If anything they should have released the regular tab a9, not plus, to all regions, not just select instead.

i seen which i assumed was the same samsung 6fe selling for over 400 and i was scratching my head why is this more expensive then the other 6 lite when it looks basically the same..

Yes it's nearlly the same the 2024 Edition has another CPU and is minimal faster what's all, The older edition 2022 is VERY MUCH CHEAPER and clear the better offer!

No. Mainly because of pen technology, the pad 6 uses a USI technology, which is less precise and makes lines wobbly. The tab s6 lite however uses Wacom’s EMR technology, making lines more precise and smoother

They giving this free woth the s24 series doesn't even seem worth it for free might be worth selling and putting it towards the s9 fe

tab s9 fe is much better deal and tablet. Using samsung trade ins you can get the s9 fe for cheaper.. the screen on the tab s6 lite is pretty bad...

4gb ram is unusable in 2024, this is ridiculous.
