If you dislike S9+ saturation, you can easily edit your photos afterwards. But to compensate disadvantage of sharpness and details on iPhone camera, how would you deal with it? Not a fan of samsung or apple, but I definitely vote for S9+ on this subject.

Joni Huang S9+ has a pro mode which nobody talks about but you can adust for saturation even before the shot.

S9 littraly desroyed iphone X in the 1. Background blur 2. Sharpness 3. Low light 4. Optical image stabilization 5. Video audio HANDS DOWN THE BEST PHONE

Besides, if I want the iPhone unrealistic over-saturated and over-contrasted shots all I have to do to is simply pressing auto correct after the shot and voila, the shot looks cartoonish just like the iPhone one.

And the iPhone X is not as good as everyone makes it out to be. for an extra 250$ or so. It's not worth it, the camera's are more on preference, the S9+ beats it in a speed test, the S9 has an SD card slot, headphone jack, super amoled display at 1440P, super slow mo, more RAM, can withstand more water, more file support, more scanners, samsung pay is better, VR and much more. So why get an iPhone X?

I think you gave the iPhone to many wins where it was actually better on the S9+. Doesn't matter though, overall the S9+ wins in both video and photo, just like Dxomark concluded. The iPhone does better in contrast in daylight up to a point that it's unrealistic. If I want that on the S9+ I simply press the autocorrect button after I've taken a shot and voila, my picture looks like an iPhone picture.

Chris Zhicay Never used an iPhone X camera before, have you? It captures details that aren't even there in real life, up to a point it looks cartoonish. If I want that I can alter it simply after the shot like I said. However, noise can never be corrected after the shot, so there's nothing you can alter about the iPhone shot afterwards, I however can enhance my shot to make it even more contrasted and colorful as the iPhone shot. Ad the fact the iPhone doesn't have pro mode and you are looking at a much more limited camera than the S9.

Chris Zhicay He kept saying the selfie shots on the iPhone are better, but selfies are about your face, not the background. At 03:00 for example his face is exposed so much better on the S9 with much more detail like in your hairs for example. Same for the shot at 4:45. Same goes for the portrait shot at 4:00. You say the iPhone was better but just look at the face man, so much brighter, clearer and more detailed on the S9+.

Xeetechcare the s9s when in auto mode is automatically set to f/2.4 when you're in a place with more than 100 lux of light. What's I'm pointing out is that the shots that are taken in daylight are using the narrower aperture not the wide f/1.5.

Well, the microphone on the iPhone and even the pixel isn't really the best, Samsung always dominated them, even from the S7 era. Galaxy has some of the best microphones in the market out there and if voice quality is what you want then going with Samsung devices is a much better option. DXO mark is not testing the camera as you would it, they just test out the raw sensor capabilities, all comes down to the software

Bro did you use the f/2.4 during good lighting? It changes from f/1.5 low light to a f/2.4 in good light for great quality pics on the samsung its not a fixed aperture

The camera on the galaxy s9 is just the best👌👌👌. The iphone x is better on the front camera😃. Video recording was beast level on the galaxy s9. Low light galaxy s9 dominated the iphone x👌👌. But the colors are more natural on the iphone. Both are great phones. Lets see what apple brings us in 2018??

Just listen to the audio difference when switched to IPX just muffled MONO AUDIO thanks to the single mic. Just clarity with the S9.

WOW S9+ owned the iPhone x in the video comparison, Camera was a bit of a mixed bag, with them trading punches, but I think the S9+ won that too over all.

Wow! Samsung really made a great job at this phone especially the camera.

The s9 was clearly more than just a bit sharper. And there is no way those overblown and extremely contrast varying colors on iPhone were more accurate. That's the same overblown saturation and contrast on every video that has been admitted to be less realistic... if it wasn't already immediately obvious

PrO_AUSTIN Pro Team! You can definitely take way better shots with the Samsung if you use the pro mode. Even an S6 would best the iPhone using pro mode. However, in pure auto vs auto I'm not blown away with the S9 compared to the iPhone. Both good cameras.

nah you sound like a fanboy, I only prefer low light shots on the S9. I prefer the iPhone X it has better balance and exposure. Auto focus is fast enough and is a non issue, color reproduction on the S9 is way off

It not about the saturation actually, iphone images just look better, and samsung overtime produces soft images that actually suck, i am not a Samsung hater or anything, it just that even after switching off beauty mode, the images are airbrushed. I m an iphone user from years and lately i was looking forward to switch to android, well after this video , i better wait for pixel 3xl that would be way better in all departments.

Super amoled does not look any better. It only has a brighter screen, a bit less power consumption and less sunlight reflection. And the touchscreen was improved.
