Just got an s7 (Exynos) a couple of weeks ago and have completely fallen in love with it. Seriously, other than the sub par speaker (which for me isn't an issue because if I want to listen to music without headphones, I have speaker for that) and the slight annoyance of having two browsers, mail and calendar apps, it's pretty much without fault.

Actually MKBHD & theMrMobile run a close race for first place in my humble opinion. They both have class and integrity. I also watch Lisa on MobileTechReview as well. Variety is the spice of life. RT

Yup. I find Micheal and DetroitBorg are the place to go when you actually need to buy a device. MKBHD is just eye candy, and his reviews have started to lose the review part.

God damn it Fisher how are you this good at reviewing in such detail and still making it so easily digestible, excellent review as always.

I can't help but smile when I see one of your videos, Michael.

Best s7 review by far. So dang substantive. It's the little things like remembering Samsung flip phones and in depth user experience being mentioned that always has us coming back. Gj Mr.Mobile

This is in my own one of the most enjoyable tech reviews I've seen on KZread or elsewhere. My point isn't about technical details at all, but the all around watching experience, when you take these into account: the shooting and montage, the dulcet background music, the way Michael speaks at a well-paced rhythm... plus the humor. Watching MrMobile's videos feels rather like listening to a close and gentle friend sharing his experience.

Who still has their S7? I know I do!

exynos is better - it's battery management is more optimised according to some review I saw months ago. I would be interested in a full battle of what all the differences are. they are mostly small differences like scrolling is probably tiny bit smoother on exynos. I gonna see if someone has done a full versus test.

Camera sensor is not chip dependent. I have Exynos edge with Sony camera sensor.

Kevin Lewis They've demonstrated that they can keep all variants exynos, even in other countries. That's all the S6 and Note 5 had. They just went back to the SD because they helped manufacture it, I guess.

emad, how's your Z2 working ?? Any Issues? I have g3 ,from 100 I can get 3 hours of use only using Facebook and messenger , and other apps not much ... will Z3 last me a day?

I appreciate your reply :) reasons why I want a Z3 instead of G3 1: G3's screen has 2k display, while Z3 has full hd, I'm okay with the full hd display I don't really care about too much "Sharpness" of the display.. 2 Battery : Z3 ,as you said, can last me a full day, mG3 can last me around 3.5 hours. As I Said before about the 2k display, it effects the Battery of the G3 .. 3: camera is great on both .. 4: G3 screen is a bit "Huge" , it comes out of my pocket and as it has curve design , there is a fear of crack on the screen while g3 in your pocket , Z3 has normal screen size and I really like the Glass design ... Although , both phones offers everything you need, but in battery, design, etc z3 is better, while g3 offers body to body ratio and 2k display ( which of course effects battery ) .. reason why couldn't got a Z3 in my country there is no resale value of z3 , and mostly Samsung , Apple are used , all of those people go with the flow ( with Apple and Samsung ) , I don't like neither of them , that's why LG and Sony , Both are great but I am thinking of going to a Z3 , and I already lost 18-22% while typing this comment :) Z2 is a great , but z3 is a bit improved in few cases like speakers , brightness etc .. S6 is great and has the best cam of 2015 but has poor battery life , and I don't like touchwiz :) , and no I won't buy a Samsung and put a launcher on it .. G3 is overall is a good phone , but just the Battery issue , made my mind on going to Z3, but I can't find original Z3 around the mobile market ( in my country we don't buy online like USA ) , but there is a site where people sell second hand things, there are Z3 , 1 Verizon , 1 T-Mobile, both want to exchange, But rest of them are like 6-8 , but they need cash , and I want to exchange, so idk what to do :)

thanks for the reply :) yes I bought the G3 a month ago, and I saw only 1 z2 in a shop priced at 185$ , g3 135$ , the difference is kinda big for me and in my country.. The idea of New generation is not bad , but everyone agrees the phones from 2014 and early 2015 , are now mid rangers in 2016, are not compatible with 2016 mid rangers , and I cannot afford phones above 170$ ..and 2016 mid rangers have lower specs than 2014 phones , that's why prefer those above today's mid rangers :)

Both are great phones tbh, though htc does have better audio quality in all departments. It is possible to have waterproofing and a great speaker as the xperia z5 premium had that (the z5 speaker in comparison is crap). Maybe the note will fix this problems? (we need type c too)

Hitler is actually a cat the S7's speaker isn't that awful. Sure it may get tinny and stuff like that but it's plenty loud and gets the job done

+Big Mo I never said it was unserviceable, I just said it could be improve with the waterproofing on. I don't bring bluetooth speakers with me all the time so it an issue. High fidelity would be welcomed too since alot of Chinese manufacturers are going all out with dual dacs on their phones, could give me a reason to sell my fiio x5

Wait for the Note 7. If you like it, you can but it then. If not, the S7 and S7 Edge will probably get discounted by then. Either way, it's a win win situation if you wait!

Emad Ahmed it's software is better, and of course audio and durability. It's a matter of personal preference, but there is no way the s7 is an out right better phone. And what's with the performance?

Emad Ahmed failing to keep apps in memory is Samsung problem, never heard someone complain about that on an HTC. And just because an s7 is faster, doesn't mean the 10 is not really damn fast too. If you can't outrun Usain Bolt you can still be really fast,for a métaphore. And I agree the s7 looks better, but the 10 is not ugly by any means.

Emad Ahmed if design is subjective, why did you bring it up? And I haven't watched speed tests because they're a waste of time. Unless there is a dramatic issue or insane difference, everything is fine as long as it's faster than average. The only problem like that I've heard is Samsung refreshing apps too quickly when left in the background.

Emad Ahmed there is nothing objective about whether it's messy or not, that's an opinion, not a fact. And isn't the exynos variant not available in a lot of places? And where did you get a source of the difference between the exynos and snapdragon variants? And with all this variant talk, WHY does Samsung release phones with 2 different processors and 2 different camera sensors when it's clear which one is superior?

Very well made video. I went from an HP Pre3 to a Galaxy S4 to a Note Edge. The two Samsung Galaxy phones were great but the SuperAmoled had burn in issues and now no Samsung has a removable battery. So I jumped ship to LG and got the V10.
