Very professional the way you did this. I done my phone to night I had my hot air set on around 350° air pressure about halfway. I had to change the charging port . I used a business card to separate the screen and the frame. I must stress that anyone who attempts this repair that you must have patients and take your time and be very very careful as failing to do so could result in a broken screen etc. This is good guidance this gentlemen video pay attention

Thank you for the support!
Great job! It looks so natural when you work on the phone like always.I remember when i learned from your video how to change the midframe on the note 2 some years ago.Was so simple, but now these unibody samsung phones are a nightmare for DIY folks. My s6 is sick with a common disease ,sadly:loose home button but after seeing the process of changing one -i must learn to live with it.I guess it s not a good idea to stick some glue beneath the home button so it wont go for a walk no more left or right, whenever i press it?

+Schickie Thank you for watching. Your correct, it may not be a god idea to add some glue in this area.
Careful with the part where you remove the LCD from the frame. I destroyed the LCD screen. Luckily the phone isn't worth that much.
Will the finger print sensor still work once the home button is replaced?
what about the adhesive for the lcd after you but it back whiteout adhesive behind the lcd might be pop up
If I reassemble the Dock Port and Headphone Jack do I need to add any adhesive? Or just assemble the original LCD that I removed in the first place without any new adhesive?

Normally a new dock port has the adhesive already. Or if you are using the original one it will have adhesive still. You should be fine without applying any extra adhesive.
does this repair the microphone also? No one can hear me when I am talking on my phone

+Nathaniel Sisler Yes, this dock includes the mic assembly.
Just did this without breaking anything. Partially assembled with only a few screws to test it. Powered on , connected to service, display worked. Made a test call to see if my voice was muffled on the other end because that was my problem, the mic. All went well until I installed the rest of the screws. Now no display. Took it apart again to check all connections and all were good. What's next ? Are their 2 different ports for the S6 ?

You may have put the wrong screw in a hole and damaged the electronics

Shanez1215 all the screws are the same except those of the charging port.
If I just wanted to replace the charging port/headphone port, couldn't I just take off the back, remove the mid frame, and then remove the logic board and the broken charging port/headphone port without removing the front portion of the phone?

We recommend following the steps shown on the video. This would be the process required to get this repair completed.
Hi, my headphone jack is playing up with me for few weeks now. My galaxy s6 is few months old and with s4 I never had that problem. Nowdays one day is ok and another that jack port doesn't work for few days then it is ok again and off. it is driving me mad

Ooooooooooo man you got the lcd out that easy , hhhhhhhhhhh
note to all, keep in mind that the LCD screen breaks easily if you perform this repair. That is an expensive repair. Don't try this at home when you don't know what you are doing.
