I have the S24 + and love it. My husband has the Oneplus 12 and he's also extremely happy with it. Both are great. I am a little jealous of his fast 80 watt charging speed, tho.

Great job this video this was the comparision I was looking for .
Enjoyed this fair review. Everyone else is doing S24U or IP15PM VS the oneplus 12, which is ridiculous, IMO. I've had the OP12 for a couple of months now and must say that for the price I paid, the value is unbeatable. I am very happy with the device (512/16), It's super snappy, awesome camera, good battery, superfast charging, and the best part.... I didn't have to pay a single cent on accessories after I bought it, and this another point reviewers don't talk about when talking price. Everything is included in the box, charger, phone case, and it even had a screen protector installed!! Sure, it doesn't have IP68 (i can live with IP65, most people can) and thenscreen is curved, all this talk about accidental touches can be sorted out by by setting the side sensitivity. So my advice, if you're on the fence about this device, GO FOR IT!!

It is a great comparison review. I agree with almost all the statements after watching other reviews on KZread.

Soooo regarding the built quality to have own both Samsung and Oneplus phones : my Oneplus 7pro was more waterproof (went in a Jacuzzi) than my S5 that was supposed to be waterproof but was rain sensitive ^^" . Never kept a Samsung more than 2 years and my 7pro survived 5 years. Most importantly, Oneplus sell directly to the customer ALL the spareparts from the 7th generation at an interesting price and are easy to repare by ourselves... what makes them virtually immortals. Just repaired my 7pro, changed the battery (that weakened but was still lasting a day after 5 years of heavy usage) and the USB and is as new.

I rocked an s4 active and an s5 active when they came out, and I would take underwater videos in the pool with them just fine. I even used to just throw them in my dish water and wash them off as a demonstration for people. I also had a Note 20 a couple of years until the s23. I only got it because of an accident I was in that totaled the phone. Honestly, I had an s10+ that was working just fine before that, but that series was waaaayy too fragile with the pearlescent glass back.

It's not a fair competition if it's not the snapdragon with Samsung by far ..
Such a touch choice! Still on my OP 7T Pro Mclaren but ready to upgrade to 1 of these 2, had Samsung for years before... prefer the size & design of the S24+ but the OP12 is slightly better value for money - shame that it's too big & unwieldy

I had oneplus 7 from 2019 and upgraded to S23 plus in Dec 2023, very happy one UI over oxygen OS
All the copper for cooling is what makes the OnePlus a bit heavy but it's one of many benefits that makes me choose the 12 any day of the week.
I actually prefer the display design and finish on the OnePlus. Curved screens look much nicer and accidental touches can be prevented by adjusting the sensitivity. Great review btw. Everyone has their own preferences haha.

I've had 3 pixel 8 pro phones and all 3 I can't get something on 3 of them. Call screening is the major issue I've had. Google couldn't fix it best buy couldn't get it either. I doubt I buy a pixel again. OP12 is arriving and giving OP 1 more shot and it's because of the specs on the OP device. I hope this phone works for me otherwise I have to get S24 plus.

The OnePlus 12 has an upcoming system update (Oxygen/Color OS 14) that greatly increase the smoothness of the system. For people who care about functionality and smoothness/speed of the system, OnePlus is the KING!!!

And honestly the fingerprint unlock on OnePlus 12 is also way smoother due to the system stability and vibration feedback. If you put Samsung down for a while and pick it up to unlock it, you will have to tab the screen multiple times otherwise the unlocking is going to take much longer than normal.😢 And because it does not have vibration feedback, you don't know what's waiting for you every time you want to unlock the phone, it is giving me a huge ick.

On 24 ultra great phone from my point of view
Do me a favor use the Samsung or the OnePlus and cover the front facing camera and try to use the fingerprint sensor and see what happens lol 😂😂😂 literally use your finger and put on the front facing camera You will see what I'm talking about both of them is using both at the same time so it's well secure
Since both phones are Android I'm just going to tell you they're both excellent phones. You can select d65 white point for your screen color's and you making video so you know what that does everything that you say wrong with OnePlus I don't see it You just making up stuff now trying to bring it down because it's such a excellent phone
Playing devil's advocate, you review phones for a living. To that end, you're constantly changing devices. Thus, muscle memory never develops. For example, if you were to use the OnePlus 12 for an extended period of time without switching muscle memory would develop. Simply put, accidental touches with seldom occur. As an exercise physiologist and biomechanics specialist, that's my professional opinion. The Samsung Galaxy s24 plus is a find device. Although, I absolutely despise the design language. Obviously, like everything in life this is about personal preference. I don't care for flat screens or endless right angles. Conversely, the OnePlus 12 and its curves provide a much more ergonomic experience. In addition, the 12 offers far better specifications and value. Personally, this choice wasn't a difficult one.

Very well said my friend!! And I tell my students to choose a weight that allows full supination, to maximize biceps peak, when performing dumbbell curls. Also, pick a point high on the wall, to focus your eyes, when performing the barbell squat. This helps keep the spine more erect and thus avoid back injury. I have a herniated L3 to prove that last point after years of disc compression. But I digress....

have both devices, and what to say ist the display on op12 is much better, the angle is much bigger und if the color is white its shown white on the op12, not on the samsung, fingerprint are equal but faceunlock is the biggest crap on samsung. the price: op is much cheaper, faster in performance and charchging, the telephoto is much better so for me its a clear win on op12 and im selling the s24+..... the exynos in combination with samsung modems (which are slower and consumes much more energy) is also ugly
1+ 100% 🎉, one you use his charging cant go back
I can't stand people's complaints about OnePlus 12s form factor or curved display. It's way more comfortable in your hands and ergonomic whereas the sharp edges on Samsung cut into the palm of your hands 🤦. Also lmao you said Samsung fingerprint reader is better? Never heard that before Samsung has the worst fingerprint readers ever since they were invented lol every other KZreadr review says they're way worse than OnePlus lol. But hey you do you Samsung fanboy. I've had a Samsung Galaxy M51 for the last 4 years, their software OneUI is what I really loved, extremely customisable and fast af reliable updates. But I've also had OnePlus years ago they're never bad, just that Samsung hardware wise gives you absolute crap for your money. And OnePlus gives you a Lamborghini for the price of a Toyota! 😅
