The Samsung has a 20 times smaller sensor than the Sony fx 30!
But still i gets close….
And btw, you cannot make a phone call or go on KZread with the fx30 😂

The Sony is obviously going to win out with that lens and the amount of compression you get. But you got to give it to Samsung it's pretty darn amazing how good it looks coming out of something so small.

I actually almost sold my fujifilm camera when i got my S23 ultra. Thanks to my wife who stopped me.. There are still really a lot of things to do in the actual camera like my fujifilm even though S23 can already do almost everything my mirrorless camera can do

Tomorrow I am uploading a new video that compares the s23 with the Sony fx30 and iPhone 14 pro. I am amazed by the quality of the s23!
If you turn on the object tracking then the Samsung will lock the subject fine.
I love the audio quality of the Sony Fx30 when playin' MP3s...and phone calls sound very clear and audible. And for street photography the Sony is barely noticeable whereas the Samsung S23 stands out like a sore thumb and really attracts unwanted attention from street people.

What if you were to test with a tape measure, how can they read the lines past 5 meters? I tested with the S20 Ultra to read a bar code and it was blurry past 2 meters.

Now record in 8K@60fps in S23 Ultra using MotionCam app and do the comparison again.. much better results I think.

obviously the actual camera will create a better bokeh but I gotta say s23ultra samples are a lot worse than usual on this :) try to use main larger sensor more. telephoto ones are known to be trash especially in low light.

The Sony camera better be so much better. It's made only for that. Nothing else. It costs two and half times more. And look at the size of that thing. Geez..
Try it with 4k 30fps where it changes the lens for zoom instead of digital zoom..This video doesn't even make sense.

Im just going to say this. They make click on zoom lenses for the iPhone that are better than the Samsung internal zoom. You can only get so good with a sensor that small. Even full frame cameras know better that's why they have separate lenses. Apple knows better. It won't be that good and your test proves it.

ridiculous to compare a DSLR to a smartphone camera! the 2 is totally different. does one see a sport photographer taking pictures of premier league game using a smartphone camera? if the reviewer seriously think a smartphone camera is better than a DSLR he must be nuts
