If you're on a tight budget then the cheaper A54 is definitely your choice; but if you're willing to spend more then go for the vanilla S23 which is so much better than the FE.

Hmm, I don't know. I have the S23, my wife has the S23 FE. I like a compact phone; my wife likes larger screens. Although I agree that by a fairly slim margin that the regular S23 is better than the FE, it's not by all that much. I've had time with both, when I'm using my wife's FE I really don't notice much difference in daily usage. They both are consistently smooth in performance and display quality. I think that which size is your preference may be the determining factor.

If the USP's are not for you (S23) the A54 is a solid for phone in daily use.

Is the case of the Samsung s23 fe compatible with the Samsung a54 is it okay even if the button is not the same? Samsung s23 fe case is beautiful

If i am getting both of them at the same price, which one should i go for.

Watching this comparison video on my Galaxy S20 FE.. I guess I'm still good with keeping mine. Both expandable memory and internal memory chips have a lot of room still. Plus, the battery is still holding strong. I'm good.. I suppose I can wait til the S25 / S26 and their variants come out.

I bought s23 fe 3 days ago. Such a beast and premium phone. The only con is the leakage of power. If you gonna buy one of them, get the a 54 if you spend a lot of time outdoors. If not, the fe is a very valuable choice.

I ordered my Samsung S23FE from the Samsung site. $379.00. ordered it on Tuesday and it got here on Thursday.

Just bought the s23 FE for my partner. He’s using the A50 for more than 5 years now. He really loved the upgrade and the extra features of his new phone. Now he always takes pictures with our cat and doing some work tasks on his phone which he couldn’t do on his old phone before. 🔥

I bought the A54 so my biased answer would be "A54 is better"

The battery life on the S23FE improved after about a week when apps were put into sleep/deep sleep.

If you're going to go with the A54 you should consider the A34. It turns out that the A34 chip makes the phone faster and have a longer battery life.

A54 wont connect to tv via hdmi converter the S series does. I have a54 thats my only complaint

I was looking for a bigger screen size, higher end cameras, Dex, aluminium frame, great display and better than average processing power. I guess it all comes down to personal preferences, but for me the S23 FE is a lot closer to S23+, than A54 is to S23 FE.

S23 FE is an S22 in a body of A54

the Exynos version of the s23fe with the blistering hot 2200 is a absolut bummer. s23 base model is still the best choice and i'm very happy with it. the GSM Arena review had a major part in my decision to buy the s23. especially the battery test was important to me!

Almost bought the A54 earlier this summer but the Verizon compatible version was $500 with no discounts or trade in subsidies available. Not worth it. Glad I waited because I picked up the much better S23 FE for $399 last week. It has full mmWave 5G Verizon compatibility out of the box unlike the standard vanilla unlocked A54. And the FE is a much better deal than the $324 A54 or the $799 S23 during last week’s Black Friday sales.

@@Rj-nh1df Doesn’t matter when I made the comment, I bought the phone in November 2023. If you actually live in the U.S. then you know the phone was on sale for $399 back then. Go buy an A54 or an A55. Hell go buy an iPhone if you want, I don’t care. The S23 FE is the better phone for me.

I had the a54 5g switched to s23fe and the s23fe is definitely faster.

It is sort of. Unlike the S22 which had a lot of over-heating and short battery life, even with the same SOC, the S23 FE does not share those problems.

Just because it has Dex mode, S23 FE becomes the best option. Of course, if you can't get the S23 FE, get the A54

Bought the a54 and was disappointed from day 1 got the s23fe yesterday on a deal and its a whole different phone works so much better

@@Phelixdegreat 📌i live in Europe so we have global version. I only check and buy for global version of a smartphone. No custom rom for me. I have had a Poco F4 for few months: no issues at all. I just don’t like MIUI. But i think it’s Poco F smartphones are powerful, with good screen, fast charging so it can be a good buy if you like those features and also MIUI. 📌I prefer OneUi, Nothing OS and iOS.

Why this channel never test stabilitation video of front & back camera? Very dissapointed.

@lenaxshin In my country S23FE has the same price as S23, so for me is not worth. As far as I know from KZread, A55 might come with Exynos 2200. If so, it will be a better option that A54 100%. But better wait a little more to see all specs of A55 to be sure. I still think that S23FE is a better option than A55 for gaming (others on KZread tech are saying the same), but if the price difference is too high, I'd go for A55.

Yes, got to consider several factors. Keep in mind size! I like compact phones and the 6.1" S23 is perfect for me, but if you want more screen real estate, the A54 has that. In sheer processor power, there is no comparison, the S23's Snapdragon 8 v.2 is far better. Another thing to consider: How long do you plan to own your next phone? Throw in a few android/One UI updates and the A54 will not age as well as the S23. BTW, if you shoot videos often, the OIS with the S23 is far better than on the A54. However, the A54 does have expandable storage. Yep, there is a lot to consider.

Samsung should solve galaxy a54, a34, S23 FE & others screen dc dimming ! Samsung devices screen are worst for eyes ! They have PWM dc dimming issues.

I have the s23fe and it certainly has flagship qualities, as i have the s23 ultra as well. S23fe is good as a budget device. The only extra thing the camera of the ultra has is the extra zoom up to 10x. The battery life is ok, but the chipset is a little dated.

Got the Fe with xfinity for $100, A54 would have been $0. Worth the extra $100?

Problem is that the 8 gen 1 in the FE is an absolutely awful cpu which overheats and kills battery life. If you can snag a good deal on a regular s23 or 23+ you would enjoy a far better experience. Its a damn shame Samsung didn't use the 8 gen 2 or at the very least 8 gen 1+ in the FE as it would have been a pretty good buy.

23fe is pointless when a54 already exists. Might as well save up and get the s23 which is superior to both

Not really. The S23 FE is well ahead of the A54, especially the SOC. Yes, the S23 is better, but we have both of these phones and I've got to say that in most usage I'm hard pressed to tell the difference (Unless the large bezels other you).

If you’re going for the 23FE, you’re not a gamer for sure, so you just need a good smartphone with good battery life, good looking pictures (possibly not even carrying about them), and you’re using it for social media and basic things / normal use. The only reason for buying the S23FE is that you have some extra cash, that’s it. If you think in “ what do I use it for “ terms, A54 is the better choice, always, simply because you will do the same things (normal use) on either phones.

A54 is better than Pixel 7A (plenty of videos on KZread to cover that), tech support is superior to the other options presented by you, software is better, warranty no issues with it, again awesome suport if anything happens. So yeah, I’m not so sure about taking that decision lightly about the other options.

@@baje.official I think One UI is terrible and not very user friendly. That's why I gave up on Samsung. In my experience Motorola and Oneplus have it much better. I had the Nord 2 and it was refreshing after dealing with a Samsung. And the Moto Edge 40 feels a step beyond the Nord, I just like the almost stock Android it has. Software support is a valid objection, but first I'd have to like One UI which I definitely do not.

Think were all getting a bit snobby I have always been for the S series but after borrowing A54 for a week Not giving it back😂 Everything is acceptable Photos are just as good as S series in real life😊
