Ima do the ultra, I love curved edges and the cameras look and the actual camera performance on the ultra. S21 plus still is a great phone I just like to go all out.

@@z28insane21 Cool. The Ultra is an amazing phone. That being said, I've always preferred the flat screen. It seems to me to give slightly more screen area, and I don't have to constantly worry about dropping and ruining the phone. Any phone can break if it's dropped, but curved screens are more susceptible.

@@classicgalactica5879 yeah, I prefer the edge screen but it isn’t too curved it’s just right, they should do what they did this year with 3 models and two are flat screens and one is curved a bit, I love the look of it

As i see it, Ultra has 0.1" bigger screen, not 1 whole inch :)

I replaced my S10+ with an S21+ on a trade in. So far, I'm glad I did. Flat screen (personal preference), HDR10+ and a somewhat larger screen. Very nice phone.

For me it's not the budget. If I am realistic I just want to consume things and the Plus is absolutely fine. The ultra is like nice to have? It's nice to say "I have the hottest phone for the moment" and if you that kind of person who likes to make many fotos and videos go ahead. But otherwise? Why way more than you need. You don't buy a RTX 3090 if you just play Nintendo games. Thanks for your review :) Very appreciated.

I've been using budget phones for years, my previous one is the LG K51 which is a very good budget device but I got the S21 plus as a gift and it is phenomenal.

i mostly want the s21 ultra for the 12gb of ram tbh cause i feel like that would be amazing for running emulators on it

This guy's voice is so soothing and relaxing, I was hooked on this review until the end.

@@neverlookback1244 hey,I also have the phantom black S21 plus. Got mine about 2 weeks ago,works absolutely perfect,battery life and performance has been fantastic. But if you're in a dilemma as to which to choose,I suggest you go for the ultra if you got the money. I would've gone for the ultra but I was a bit short on funds although I don't regret getting the plus 😊. The ultra would be the absolute go if you can afford😊🙏

Got mines today

U forgot about spen support which is a huge feature n brings they ultra in line with note besides spen Bluetooth functionality for now but they are going to release spen pro later this year which is going 2 have Bluetooth functionality and will be exactly in power with note

THank you for this. I'm trying to figure out why people are against the curve screen? I've never had a curve screen before, so I dont want to buy something that has complaints if the curve screen can damage easily. I love taking pics and videos, and need long life battery. So figuring out which is best. Please suggest!

I will first of all assure you that the curve of the s21 ultra is not that much, it is very minimal. The s21 ultra is a fantastic phone with fantastic cameras, so if you love taking photos and videos or content creating then think no more, S21 ultra is the ONE for you.

The s21 ultra actually only has 4 cameras... the 5th lens you see on the top right side of the camera is actually the laser auto focus lens which samsung used to fix the issues the previous s20 ultra had with auto focus

I always use my Samsung galaxy S8 then the 10 s plus on 1080p to save power & there is almost no difference on 1080p to 1440p for my eyes so the s21 plus with a huge 4800 mah battery 🔋 should be brilliant on battery love it.

I'm debating between the 21 plus and the s21 ultra. The main thing pulling ne towards the Ultra is the better camera. I have a 3 month old baby and I want the beat pictures possible. I love the phantom navy color too. But would you say that is worth the extra money? The s21 plus still has a nice camera too.

The 21 ultra will fit your needs well because it has the best camera and the display is awesome for content consumption.

I don't know much about cameras. If I'm taking pictures under 30x space zoom, what will the Ultra have benefit over Plus? Portrait, Landscape, City photo, Night photo, Astrophotography, etc. What are the advantage of 2x 10MP Telephoto have over 1x 64MP telephoto? I'm talking about under 30x zoom because I don't think I'll need to zoom more than that. Will 1x, 3x, and 10x zoom be same?

My problem is with 4k,8k video shooting capabilities and higher res cameras, the phone memory will fill up pretty quickly, not to mention all the videos we get from WhatsApp, etc. groups. With S21U at least u have additional limitless storage via SD card

Yuh think maybe it might have been a good idea to place them side by side since you’re comparing them???

yeah reason I didn't upgrade my S10 plus to S21 plus was becoz of the downgrade in resolution. I really want the 120 Hz but not sacrificing the resolution. I will wait 2 - 3 more years until 1440 res at 120 Hz is available for the Plus version.

How big is the difference between the cameras on both? I have been looking for videos but everyone only compares the ultra to older galaxy phones or iPhones. I want to see the camera difference between the 21/21+ and the ultra.

4 cameras on the Ultra vs 3 cameras on the plus, one 108MP on the ultra vs one 64PM on the plus, 100x space zoom on the ultra vs 30x space zoom on the plus, laser autofocus on the ultra vs no laser autofocus on the plus, 40MP selfie camera on the Ultra vs 10MP selfie camera on the plus. The rest are all the same, even the video recording specs are all the same.

@@BigPhilTV Someone had mentioned that S21+ colors are a bit 'warmer' while those of S21U are more natural.

Just got my Ultra this morning - bit taller than my S10+ but not over sized. BUT thinking of swopping it already! The Ultra is very very top heavy (where the extra camera bit is) and feels like you could drop it very easily. Although, the picture quality is amazing.

Do you actually tell the difference between the WQHD display to the FHD+ display on a smartphone, no. I have the 20 FE and bought the S21 Ultra and I couldn't tell the difference in watching movies. I'm just surprised how your display comparison here was so different from each other. Maybe you should check the display settings. I'm sure the 21 plus was on the video enhancer which can make video to lose quality while the Ultra was not.

The only reason why I'm tempted to buy the Plus model is for that battery size. That 300 mah bump will make it last longer. I just don't like big phone and glass backs and thats coming from a 6'1 man with large hands. I hate small phones always get a smaller battery, the s21 should gotten a 300 mah boost. I spends most of my day away from an outlet (I work outdoors at a shipyard). I don't know, $200 dollars for extra battery....sadly all reviews right focus on 80% ultra model, 19% on the s21 and for some reason this year's nobody seems to have a plus model.

The plus model will be very fine with you, I recommend the ultra to content creator and those who use their phone for everything and those who want to start up and online business or channel. You are just an average user, so go for the s21 plus.

@David Zavala @Big Phil Tv I've always loved the plus model ❤️🌷 it's the balanced option ; but this year ;to be honest ; it's about the extremes : s21 is best value ; s21 Ultra is best at everything else; while the plus has been screwed in the middle , I really like the flat display and gorgeous design ; but they should've at least calibrated the plus model display like last year ; full hd + with adaptive 120 Hz , or quad Hd+ with standard 60hz; have they done that ; they would've surely differentiated the 3 models ; but aside from that downgrade ; the plus phone is just GORGEOUS !!!🌷❤️ And you can never go wrong with it ; it's just about value and if you can wait for competition; especially with iPhone 12 pro and OnePlus 9 pro on the way.

For longevity which one it best. Let's say in 3 years which phone will age the best and still have the most usefulness? I'm upgrading from the S9 to one of these two.

Ha me 2 I have a galaxy s9+ I decided to get the s21+ cause I dont need any of the camera stuff. Its pretty much the same as the ultra only difference bigger screen and longer battery life and more pixels and the display looks a little bit better.

Two points: 1) If you want to use the stylus, it will be external to the 21U phone -- via a suitable phone cover, etc. It is built-in in Note20U. 2) I do want SD card -- with 4k,8k video shooting capabilities and higher res cameras, the phone memory will fill up pretty quickly, not to mention all the videos we get from WhatsApp, etc. groups. So S21+ is not an option.

Depends what you want from a smartphone, I uprgaded for flat display and touch sensitivity that is 240 hz , the 120 hz refresh rate is a big bonus and I love it.

You can minimize the icons, just tap and hold an empty space on the home screen then settings.

Metal sides would’ve looked awesome on the 21 ultra black like it is on the silver.

Most average users are not 4k and 8K type. 1080p is ok for me .on small screen it hardly matters and 2k videos also eat a lot more data

I went with the s21+ and it arrives on the 13th of April!

I'm a big photo person. I love my Ultra and the photo quality. They come out almost professionally done with very little effort put into it.

I’m sorry but if you pause the video at 5:04. The screen on the bottom just looks so much better. I don’t know maybe it’s a KZread video but I would prefer that one. The top screen just looks washed out.

You can’t really see the resolution differences through the camera but trust me the s21 ultra has a fabulous display and the s21+ has a good display

Think I know what I'm going to get! S21+ seems like the better option for me because I don't use KZread to watch things for the entertainment, I mostly use it for podcasts, interviews, etc, im not too keen on sitting there and watching whatever. I also take wonderful pictures on my s10+ so I think the s21+ will do me well without all the extra whistle and bells of the s21 ultra. I am not an influencer or content creator so I think I should fare well. Do you think? Thanks for the review! Also I have 4 kids so dropping the phone is a big concern

@@BigPhilTV OK thanks, I've seen another video and the guy said the Ultra is alot more bulkier/heavier feeling. I generally don't like big phones but the S20+ was nice and sleek feeling with the curved edges I may get the S21+ to save money but switch to the ultra if I don't like it.

You realize you can't see the difference from 1080 to 1440? It's a waste of battery. You are seeing the difference in the colors of the display and maybe the brightness. It's impossible to see 1080 vs 1440 with the human eye. Waste of battery power.

I was about to get the plus but i got the iphone 12 pro max hopefully i don't regret it i been hearing the s series have hot issues bad battery is not great . Can some one confirm i still have 14 days to return the iphone if I don't like it

I'm trading my iPhone pro max for ultra 21 the iPhone is no good keeps loosing signal drops calls all the time so I'm getting rid of it going back to samsung never had any problems with samsung

S21 plus is the fone one should have. With its screen on time, dispaly size, camera module it makes everything enough. S21 ultra is not worth the money. For 200$ extra i think u get only camera enhancement. 0.1 inch extra screen and 200 mah more battery. That it. M going for s21 plus.

The ultra gives you a small bit more detail. When you're watching videos on KZread you're getting 4k downscalled a lot the time. Downscalling>upscaling.

@ 5:04 the phone on the bottom looks amazing. Deeper blacks. Now in reality when at the at&t store, with both phones next to one another they look similar. Yeah thr ultra looks slightly better but not like compared to the s20fe. The 1440p doesn't matter much at almost 7". At 27" yes. I play games on a 1440p gaming monitor and it's night and day. But you're silly.

Why would watching Netflix be any different between the two there is a .1 difference and Netflix doesn't support 1440p resolution via mobile it will restream at 1080p, so you are wasting resolution either way. You downgraded the plus immensely, the plus model has 90% of the same capabilities as the ultra minus the camera and spen and slightly bump in ram but it has been shown that 8 gb , is the sweet spot for Android devices to run balanced and good, anything above 12 gb ram is shown to be a waste . Facts need to be researched better

Blah yes the camera does goes up to 100 x times but most folks say you cant get any useable video over 5 the battery on the plus will last MUCH longer because its a 1080p vs 4k.

The display of the s21+ is the only reason why I don’t want to buy it. A downgrade right?

Technically ya... I have a note 20 ultra. When I go between wqhd and fhd+ I honestly can't tell a difference. What I can tell you is the refresh rate is where the difference lies. (Mine can't do wqhd and 120, only fhd+ with 120) To me refresh rate is way better here and the screen is still amazing specially with the 1300-1500nits brightness.

So I'm using the Note 10+ and most of the time I'm running FHD+. I don't feel a big difference visual wise but battery wise. I barely went for the WQHD+ and I'm pretty sure it was more like a placebo effect than anything else. So in numbers it's better. But if you just watch videos and chill you won't feel any difference. Just if you wanna see a difference :)

I got the phantom violet S21+. The design & color is off the map. Along with the blazing fast triple8 processer. Wow-we it flies. That 120hz display even at 1080p is excellent. Vastly improved 🌙 nightsight & I mean improved? Enjoying it very much especially what I paid with a trade 384.00 buck-a-roos USD. Not too shabby!6
