This video is confusing for someone who has never seen the Note 3. I did not know which phone was which.

It's not that Samsung is finally copying apple, it's just that phone technology is already pretty advanced enough, the only thing you can do now is just boosting up the cpu speed slightly, or pixel density.

Well I was talking design wise. Now they are keeping to the same old with S5, note 3, note 4. Note 4 is just the note 3 with a metal frame. I think there are lots of areas to improve than having uber resolution. How about more battery life? I was hoping also for a bigger design along 6" (I loved the xperia ultra but battery life was horrible) it will have even better use for the s pen. Also you can't say the phone tech is pretty advance, I'm sure someone thought the same 5 years ago when iphone 1 was the "most advance it could get"

***** Water resistance would have made the chassis even bigger, so would front facing speakers. USB 3.0 was a bit odd to leave out, but the majority of people don't transfer lots of files from their pc to their smartphone nowadays.

Its still laggy, you can see from when he taps on something it takes a while to think then finally opens, just like every touchwis device. I had a note 3 and it was good the first month but then started getting slower and slower, same thing with my friends galaxy s3, his phone is so slow now that it feels worse then first gen android phone with 1gz processors.

it's not just Samsung , any other android device that i have ever used i faced the similar problem. as soon as you keep adding apps it's starts to slow down or lag. & that's where the ios & windows phone shines with only 1 gb of ram or less they still manages to play smoothly no matter how many apps you install. Android is just not optimized. i still owns a android phone (htc m8) as a secondary handset along with iphone 5s & lumia 925 .

imteyaz shaikh Yeah that's true but Samsung is king at it lol. The latest device I have now is an LG G Flex and it has not slowed down yet so this is the only phone that has been working as fast as day one. But I am getting the iPhone 6 when it comes out

Too bad you "got rid of the note 3", after a month, i think the update came in the 2nd month. I find iPhone lags after every update.

As a Note 3 owner I recomment purchacing Note 4, also as said on the video Note 4 is an ENHANCEMENT. I will soon be getting s Note 4. Nice video.

I don't get why people upgrade every year. For people that have the note 3, no shit it's not going to be a huge upgrade. I have the note 2 and by comparing that with the note 4, that's an upgrade for me.

I skipped the note 3... note 4 was coming out tooo soon after... plus I preferred the note 2 to the 3... this is def a upgrade for me... I don't like the design so much... but the cam upgrades sold me.

***** I was thinking about getting it too, but it was a bit too expensive ;P Almost 1000 dollar increase for a little extra screen. I just bought the Korean version of the note 4, and I LOVE IT :D

I had the Note 3 for a good year and then I upgraded to the Note 4. To be honest I am missing my Note 3 terribly. Yes the Note 4 is enhanced in every way but I feel that the N3 was more comfortable to use. It was slimmer, shorter, and lighter. It has a raised side bezels which offers protection if dropped. I don't like the task manager button on the N4 and the relocation of the Options button, this makes one handed use more difficult on the N4 compared to the N3. I don't like how Action Memo is no longer a widget on its own like on the N3. Dammit I want my Note 3 back. Who needs over 500ppi ona 5.7in screen anyway....

I've been looking forward to upgrading to this for a while now, since I'm bound to a 2 year contract which is over pretty soon I'll upgrade from the Note 2 to the Note 4.

Still happy with the Galaxy Note 3 but still going to get the galaxy note 4 next year, on my free upgrade, AT&T.😀

Note 4 looks nice. But I like big screens and u can see note 4 screen looks a bit longer then note 3. Note 3 is wider that's making me think if I should stick with my note 3.

Viktor Melnik The note 4 is a tad bit taller but both are about the same width. I don't think that after a few days you'll be able to really tell the difference. I have both and think either would be an excellent choice!

Gary - the AT&T store guy said that all carriers will be moving to subsidized/full priced phones within a year or so - I would get the upgrade as soon as you're eligible.

Have my note 3 for 6 months now and its still almost as good as new. Once every other day it may freeze on an app for a few seconds and that's it. Viber does lag from time to time but I reckon that's an app issue. Really didn't think it would hold out this long before giving problems

I need help my contract phone is ending soon and I can't make up my mind to get the note 3 or note4 any advice

Does anyone know when 4.4.4 will be coming out for later Samsung devices? I have a note 3 and really want this update to come out already.

Did Samsung call back the whole note series when the note 7 exploded? I'm looking to buy a new note 3 (or possibly a note 4) but I can't find them anywhere except amazon and ebay. I inherited my current note 3 from my sister and now it keeps shutting itself off thinking the battery has run out (probably needs a new one). It's also become slower after 4-5 years of use so it might be time to upgrade.

#1 isn't the glass meant to be stronger? #2 I could be mistaken but I thought I heard 3gb of ram on the live stream? And #4 in the small show after unpacked on the live stream I could have sworn they said expandable to 64 gb... can someone please confirm?

I need a little bit of advice here, my S3 just cracked and im looking for a replacement. I understand that the N4 has noticeable improvements compared to the N3, but is that really worth the price difference? The N3 is about half the price of what it was when it first released and i believe that the same thing will happen to the N4 when the N5 comes out. Dirk Löchter note 5 fixed that issue.

I know the snapdragon version has LTE connectivity...but is it true that the exynos version also has LTE (cat4)???? I read it somewhere but im not sure...??

+Flavio Venegas It's not too much of a noticeable difference. I have a Note 3, and it can still compete with an LG g4 that my friend has. Maybe the Note 4 will be better in terms of software, since it's newer and may get an extra os update

when i got the note 3 they told me there was not internal storage options....its all sd card so was i lied to.....

I've had the galaxy s3 for a few years now and wondering if I should go for the Note 3 or Note 4. The note 3 is now $99 whereas the Note 4 is $300 to upgrade to. Which should I go for? At the moment I'm leaning toward the note 3 since both phones seem fairly similar.

I definitely want the note 4 but after bills/rent and other expenses it's a bit tricky to save up $300 to upgrade. I'll probably wait until it drops in price then go for it. Thanks!

Finally I will get a Note 3 with a custom rom, better and cheaper than the Note 4.

i know its late in the game but i just got the note 3 i had htc one m7. my two years was up so i switched. the only reason note 3 is because staples hada sale on the 3 for 1 cent after you got another 2 year contract note 4 was 299.99. dollars did i make the right choice gonna have to keep it now till 2017 till at least 6 months after note 6 is out. also does any one know when the note 3 or 4 will get android 5.0 thanks let me know if i made the right choice

Okay so... Note 4 has a slight bump in specs, cool features (can be ported to N3 in future), S Pen sensitivity enhancement (okay that's good), Camera with OIS, cool... BUT!!! No USB 3.0, Stupid positioning of speaker, uglier back cover and that stupid fingerprint scanner. I would be tempted to upgrade from the Note 3 however I don't see a great advantage since most of the new stuff will be portable to the 3.

First qHD SuperAMOLED display okay, fast charing with redesign USB 3.0 OKAY, back cover that actually functions to have a grip ok, fingerprint scanner and hear rate monitor, not even mentioned but is there. Use it don't use it who cares, okay. 16MP with OIS pretty cool 4x more pixels than the HTC one. S pen sensitivity enhanced plus multitasking.

David I'm not saying this is bad because it's a monster but there are a couple of bits that they could have done better and since the Note 3, I hate speakers that aren't either at the side, bottom or front. Besides, best phone of 2014 :)

VoodooMadMike41 I've been anticipating this phone. I am truly stratified with the upgrades made from the Note 3. As for the speaker, The placement sucks but it doesn't apply for me i never play music or games on the speakers. If thats the only matter for you then you should consider the HTC one. But over all this phone is amazing.

well i was going to upgrade to note 4 or the note edge , but am not impressed with either of them , think i'll just move onto to payg instead until something better comes along.

Note 4 edge. It should have more developer support for apps and games. Will be interesting to see how they'll utilize it. Just think of it as the taskbar from windows 7 which no phone has now.

Why do people always make such a big deal over body design when we know we're all going to put a clunky case over it anyway? Who really carries their phone naked?

the Lollipop update on my Note 3 has made the interface more or less the same as my gf's Note 4 with the exception of Ultra power saving mode. Not missing anything really.

note 4 if u want to save up go ahead and try the note 3 if u cant afford the note 4

There's apparently some guy working on a custom oem like software update but with android marshmallow, allegedly the phone will retain all of its features, but I do know for a fact, that sometime in the future the note 3 will get, 5.1.1

Note 3 still doesn't have 5.1.1. I know I have 4 of them. But great phone.

I guess I won't missed too much. Im sticking with my note 3 then. Gonna wait next year for note 5. I wonder when theyre going to release the tablet folded into a phone just like what they present on the samsung commercial.

I had the note 3 and I've just upgraded to the note 4 as I know the note 5 will not have a micro sd card. With the note 4 I'm surprised at the little tweets Samsung had made. Really improved from the 3 especially the camera and software. Makes a big difference!

I have a note 3 running an s5 rom,I decided to go for the note 4 and boy am I disappointed I did,apart from the slightly better camera and brighter display the features on the note 3 are far better they even took off quick glance and air finger you have to use the pen all the time would be nice if you could install stuff like that as add ons so people who want them can install them...note 4 going on ebay tomorrow big mistake....

i was hoping that its front facing camera be upgraded to 5MP. I might just hang on to my Note 3 for now and look forward to the launch of Note 5.
